The King's Justice by Wayne MansfieldKing, Book 23 StarsReviewed for www.heartsonfirereviews.comA short, but nice installment in what I hope will be a longer series. This book begins immediately where The King's Prize leaves off. After being poisoned, Pan awakes to find that his devoted lover, King Seronisis, has brought his mother and sisters from their farm to visit with him briefly. He is nursed back to health and the king barely leaves his side. As he recovers, they have frequent hot and sweaty sex and reaffirm their bond. King Seronisis is determined to find the one who dare to hurt his beloved. He still has his harem in the dungeons but has given them an opportunity to confess, with no one stepping forward to take responsibility. Pan does a little digging on his own and finds the culprit to be someone close to the king. The King decides the penalty for the man's offense and meets out his justice.

This helped me not read the first book. Thank you. Not that it was horrible or anything, but nothing in it pulled me into wanting to find out more. Nothing. And it was uninteresting even as a follow up I've read before the first book.
