You want a book to put you through the ringer? Look no further than Desperation of Love. Going into this story, I thought I knew how Alex and Jordan were going to play out. How wrong can one person be? The development of these two character’s story is just mind-blowing. You think you know what is behind their emotions and then…BAM…Author Montalvo-Tribue, throws in an open-mouth unbelievable perfect monkey wrench. The fact that she does it multiple times is pure literary genius. These depths of feelings are like nothing I’ve ever read. The reasons behind Jordan being the “take what you physically want without any sort of emotional connection” is absolutely brilliant. Alex, the swoon worthy, how-could-she-not-fall-head-over-heels-for him, male lead makes you feel his desire for Jordan, amongst major envy for her, that she is the reaping his vast appreciation for the physical. You cannot read this book and NOT become emotionally invested in these characters; it is impossible. I went through the gamut of emotions along with them. Seeing Victor and Elle continuing there amazing love story was just an added bonus. Not to mention the amazing secondary characters, you just feel so much a part of their world. The ending was perfect and again, left me in awe! Montalvo-Tribue has quickly become one of my favorites. Regardless of the story, if her name is attached to it, I will read it and know I will walk away with a classic, original, and heart-warming perfect story.

check out this review and others at[email protected] received this book from the authors for an honest review.I read and reviewed the first book of this series and fell in love with Victor and Elle. While reading I was very interested in hottie older brother Alex and Elle's BFF Jordan. They seemed to click. So I was super stoked when I found out this was their book!!!I started this book and read it in one day., I was sucked in with the very first chapter. Jordan is a girl who keeps men at an arms distance away. She will date but keeps her heart guarded. Alex is a guy who travels so he just kinda plays the field all the while hoping to settle down ONE DAY. Well Jordan and him have a instant chemistry. They have even had a couple make out sessions but dont tell Elle!!! Alex moves to town and pretty much moves into Jordan's place...did she want him to...not really but kinda yeah in a round about way. Alex pushed Jordan to accept the fact they will be together. When Jordan has to deal with the death of a family member, Alex doesn't give a crap who knows.....he is there for "his girl". The promise he makes her dad had my tummy doing flip flops......The couple have a few fights and alot of miscommunications but seem to make a go of it until...........A big bomb is dropped in Alex's lap by hi dad. When he finds out that Jordan knew and kept it from him, he says they are done. He disappears and leaves Jordan completely broken. Elle is stunned that Jordan admits her feelings. She feels bad that she told Jordan (not knowing Alex and Jordan were dating) they are a bad fit and a bad idea. The story is a really good one and the plot twist was pretty shocking to say the least. My favorite part of the story is the epilogue. I love a good HEA.....but then this is why I read romance right???

What anther fantastic book from Alice Montalvo-Tribue. This book is the 2nd installment from the Of Love series and focuses on the development of a relationship between Alex and Jordan. This book was a fantastic follow up book in a series. A lot of times when a book goes from a singular title to a series or is already part of the series but the 2nd or 3rd book the later books tend to lose my interest or stamina. This book was not the case- by.any.means! This book did so much for me as a reader and hit all the high points for me- alpha male, strong female lead (meaning not whiney or annoying), great character development and depth, a believable connection between characters, and plenty of interaction with the characters from the first book. This book had typical highs and lows between the lead characters but weren't overplayed! There connection wasn't a jump all in kind of love so it was completely believable. Definitely a home run read and a rare 5 stars!

I think I loved this one more than the first one. This one was full of heart ache, lies, and secrets but it makes up a great story of love, forgiveness and the courage to overcome your biggest fears in life. The chemistry between Alex and Jordan was pouring off the pages. There were times I wanted to yell at her and tell her to wake up already and see what she had in front of her! He was amazing! And with just enough of a alpha male side to keep things interesting. I love how Alex didn't give up and he kept Jordan on her toes. But of course Alice hits you in the face with the hugest secret I didn't see coming and he does end up pushing her away. It makes Jordan see how messed up she was with him and that her biggest fear now was letting him go. I mean to find out what he did on a day that was supposed to bring so much joy into the world. Finally he wakes up and realizes what he did wrong and surprises Jordan. I thought that was a really sweet that she woke up to him being right there with her. And thank goodness she took him back right away because I would have hated for her to turn him away. I do wish there was a little tear or something from him when he apologized but I loved it all the same. I would definitely recommend this book. It is worth the money!

I loved this book! If you haven't read Translation of Love make sure you do, then read Desperation of Love! Alex definitely gives Victor a run for his money as the sexiest Garza brother! Desperation of Love was agnsty, sweet, and sexy. 4 starsDesperation of Love is Jordan and Alex's story. Jordan is a commitment phobia, whenever she feels commitment she runs. When she sees Victor and Ellie's relationship and how happy they are, she questions whether she even wants that or if it could even be in the future for her. Enter Alex, Victor's brother...he is older, sweet, and smoking hot and interested in Jordan. These two both have issues that threaten to break them both, can Jordan and Alex find their HEA together? If you looking for a emotional, sweet romance with lots of twists and turns then Desperation of Love is just the book for you.*Reviewed by Brandi

Great follow up to Translation of Love! I just love those Garza brothers. Alex & Jordan are drawn together by their instant physical attraction, but Jordan cannot let him in completely. She has spent her lifetime not letting men get to close after living through a nasty divorce. Alex is just the guy to snap her out of that, but between chasing her for a year and a bomb dropped on him that changes how he looks at everything that has happened in his life, he wanted to walk away forever. Little did Alex know, he and Jordan had more in common than he originally thought and it is just the link they need to make for a beautiful epilogue.I would love to see a book #3 with Brooke and Gavin (hint, hint...wink, wink)

This is the second book in the (Of Love Series). Which again I truly loved! This is the story of Jordan and Alex who both have deep dark secrets. Their relationship is so up and down emotionally and you never know what’s going to happen (which I liked). You just seem to fall in love with all these characters in the (of love series) I feel like they are my friends and I just want to hang out with them. I LOVE the way Alice writes and fingers crossed this series will continue!!!

I absolutely loved Jordan and Alex. This isn't a typical story where you can see what's going to happen & know how it's going to end. It's very emotional lots of surprising twists and turns too. I enjoyed catching up with Victor and Ella as well as meeting Brooke who I wonder if she might be the focus of the next story. I can't wait to find out!

I am desperate for more pages. This is a ride thru the minds, of Jordan, and Alex who are more meant for each other, then they want to acknowledge. Jordan takes her seeming loving relationships, and turns them into doomed failures so her heart stays intact. Alex puts everyone before himself, now he wants to add a relationship to his plans but is heartache is it worth the risk? "looking at him now, I can see something they I haven't noticed before. I'm pretty sure it's pain. He keeps it well hidden and he's good at it. I would know, I've been doing the same thing for years. Maybe that is why we've always been drawn to each other."Trying to save herself form heartache Jordan has always ended things before they got serious, when Alex has a water pipe break, he moves in and he takes none of Jordan's shit...just some closet space. But hey, it won't be so bad will it? He has patience and she has warned him loving her is costly, because he is after all her best friends brother in-law."The more time I spend with Alex, the more I start to wonder if he could be that slice of goodness."The more I read, the more I was like: do you both want me spell it out LOVE, and Fear are the same side of the coin!! a few moments later yelling at my kindle it happened... yes Jordan and Alex finally acknowledged they care about each other but when push comes to shove would it bend them and mold or break? I love the sincerity when he tells his mother about him and Jordan. "Because Ellie doest approve. she thinks that Jordan is going to hurt me and it will end badly for all of us""is there any truth to that?""Fuck yes! She can destroy me" " You Love her" she whispers"Yes", I respond simple with zero emotion, as though loving Jordan is second nature. After the family dirt is dug up, Alex finds out Jordan knew he is an emotional wreck and lashes out at Jordan, who just announced she loved him but he doesn't seem to think so. when she comes clean about her feeling for him he still needs time to sort thru it all. "...I know it's love. I know it is because the fear of losing you is bigger than the fear of being with you. I've been living in hell for the past few weeks without you. I think I've loved you for a long time. I was just too stupid to admit it".After everything Alex and Jordan get to their Happy Place and his inner thoughts are sweet and sum up their story .."Life is never easy. It's filled with chaos, crazy families, secrets and lies, and unexpected surprises...""...She and I together, connected on the other side, stronger for having survived it".This book is a great read, and the characters are believable. This is a book you will want to reread because it teaches you that after all, to hell and back is a symbol of true love and they have gone the distance in this book. I hope you all enjoy this book as much as I did. Happy reading!**Reviewed as part of Fun Fab and Tantalizing Reads

I loved Desperation Of Love by Alice just as much as the first one. I really have a special place in my heart for Victor. Alex is different from Victor in the way that makes me want to get to know him. Jordan on the other hand needs someone like Alex in her life. She needs someone who is going to want to be with her unconditionally. Alex definitely was proven to be patient, kind, and loving. He was perfect in every way. I didn't want to put this book down. If I could of read it in one sitting I would have. Jordan is Ellie's best friend from the fist book Desperation of Love. She is very skittish when it comes to long term relationships. Alex is Victor's brother and he is an all around good guy. He does what is asked of him and never complains. His mother has treated him badly always putting Victor's career above him. Jordan and Alex are friends. When Alex moves to town because he is venturing into producing with Victor. Victor has quit performing and is concentrating on his happiness with Ellie. Jordan and Alex are thrown together. They are both family to Ellie and Victor. Their relationship shifts after he moves to town. Jordan is scared to pursue anything with him, Ellie has made it clear she doesn't want to see Alex hurt. Alex makes his own decisions and he likes Jordan. He wants a relationship with her. Unfortunately they agree to keep it a secret. They are both hiding from more then the people who care for them the most. There are family secrets and past hurts that are truly standing in the way of their happiness. Patience is what Alex has a lot of. Jordan has it in her head that she is going to do something to ruin the relationship. Her parents divorce has scared her from giving all of herself. Alex knows this but whatever Jordan is willing to give he will take. The feelings they share are genuine and he wants to make sure he gives them a real chance. Jordan is so hung up on not being good enough for Alex. I wish I could tell her you are and so much more.I enjoyed seeing more of Ellie and Victor. They were a big part of the relationship between Alex and Jordan. Their love and support was what a family should be. Now there were some ups and downs during the book. Not just between Alex and Jordan, but also the other characters. A lot happens during the book. Some things that happened I wasn't expecting. I absolutely would recommend this book to you. This series has proven fantastic. I look forward to reading the next book. Yes, I believe there will be another book involving Brooke and Ellie's brother. So be sure to keep an eye out as this series continues.

Desperation of Love is the second book in the Of Love series although it can be read as a stand alone. Alice Montalvo-Tribue is an established author who weaves words into hot and steamy reads that will take your breath away.DOL is a 5 star read! Grab it today and wrap your hands around Alex Garza!Jordan is a self employed web developer. She is fun loving, enjoying life and her fear of commitment keeps her from ever really falling in love. Jordan was the center of her parent's world and when that world crumbled so did her faith in relationships. She stands by her best friend as Ellie finds love and happiness, Jordan wonders if that will ever be her.Her (Ellie) path to love gives me hope that maybe I can' get out of my own way long enough that I might be able to experience in one day. I sincerely doubt it, but certainly doesn't hurt to hope.Alex is slightly moody, kinda hot headed and a WHOLE LOT OF MR SEX ON A STICK. He will definitely be your next book boyfriend. Alex has been a producer and tour manager for his brother for years. He is use to taking care of his loved ones. But who takes care if Alex?“You are the best of me, you know that? Nothing in my life has ever quite measured up to what you’ve given me.” Their attraction to one another was immediate however the relationship builds slowing and becomes extremely intense. As they take things to the next level Jordan opens up to Alex. "If you're waiting for me to speak words of love, or tell you that we'll be together forever, I can't promise you that I'll ever say that. But I can say that I've never felt like this about anyone. I've never wanted to try so hard with anyone. You wanted our first time to be special, Alex. This is it. Here in this house, where we met, where we snuck our first kiss, where this thing between us started."DOL is a story about overcoming your personal demons and allowing love into your life. I had the great privilege of beta reading DOL. Alice Montalvo-Tribue is an amazingly talented author and one I will continue to follow throughout her career. JORDANALEX

I was so touched by this book I am not sure where to start a review of it. I absolutely loved it. It twisted my insides and was sinfully sexy and beautifully heartbreaking and perfectly pieced together.Jordan has a torn past. She spent a lot of time being torn between parents when they divorced and then she learned the truth about her life. She didn’t believe in love and she certainly didn’t let men get close enough to love her fully as she pushed them away or ran from them. Commitment was not in her future and she always though she was content with that.Alex lived in his brother’s shadow much of his life. But he had accepted it. He and his father had a very strained relationship and his mother, well, it was questionable as to whether or not she cared at all. He had his brother though and his brother was his true family and Alex knew it.When Alex moves back to town to open a recording studio with his famous brother, he meets up with Jordan again. Alex and Jordan hadn’t seen each other for quite a while since the morning they woke up in the same bed after Jordan drank a bit too much. Out of fear, Jordan left without a word and didn’t even try to reach out to Alex, her friend, fearing the worst had happened. But when these two collide, sparks fly but can he break down the walls she has built around her heart? Can she trust him enough to learn to love again? Time after time, everything seems to be against Alex in this equation. But he makes a promise that he doesn’t want to break. But it may be inevitable if Jordan continues to push and push. Can these two overcome their pasts and learn how to believe in love together? Can they make that spark last? This book was so beautiful. From start to finish, it had my blood pumping and my heart aching. It was a constant up and down feeling. I smiled, I hoped, I loved, I hated and yes… I cried. I was so torn up at parts of this book and I felt for both Jordan and Alex at different points throughout the book. The characters were amazing and how they interacted was not only breath-taking and sweet but super hot and sexy too! I just didn’t want to put this book down. I believe that any book that can touch me and make me feel the range of emotions this one had me feeling is something special. This is a fabulous book and I highly recommend it!*I received a complimentary copy of this book in exchange for an honest review*

Review of Desperation of Love by Alice Montalvo-TribueBook provided by author for honest review.Desperation of Love is a very sweet and sexy romance. The author did a good job of making me fall in love with the characters, however, I would like to note there were several times I could have clocked both Alex and Jordan. I’m all for angsty love stories, but holy crap, get your poop in a scoop already! I say that, only because this book made me cry. Not just once or twice… no I cried three times while reading this book. (Alice, you big jerk!) I loved it though.Jordan has serious issues. She has some deep seeded relationship phobias that basically turn her into a blumbering mess anytime she feels like commitment is on the horizon. She saw her bff Elle get her HEA and starts to wonder if maybe it could be something she wants, but she doesn’t know how to even pretend to commit. Alex, Victor’s brother, is one hot guy. He is older than the average bbf, but I like that, I don’t have to feel like a dirty cougar lusting after him. Alex wants Jordan, but there is a lot of wall to break through for him to get his way. Both Alex and Jordan have a lot of bumps along the way and a few of those will break your heart and possibly send you into a tear fest or three. Le sigh. The only thing that sort of put me off of this book is that I almost felt like Alex and Victor had the same voice. There were a few personality differences that would show through from time to time, but for the most part I almost forgot there was a difference between the two. I would have loved to see Alex really own the slight domliness that he showed, it was part of what made him stand out from his brother’s sweet, gentile ways.Desperation of Love gets 4 stars for storyline and 4 stars for smuttiness. The follow up novel to Translation of Love will not leave you disappointed. Jordan Burke seems so put together. She has a great career, a wonderful family and fantastic friends…all a woman would want, right? The only thing missing is true love. She has had much heartache and is afraid to let anyone in; afraid to trust and open up for fear of having her heart broken. Alex Garza has always been living his life in his brother’s shadow. His own parents have always made him feel inconsequential and second best. He too, has been afraid to hand over his heart. Alex and Jordan meet and sparks fly. Their attraction and connection is so strong, but they face so many roadblocks. You are hoping and praying throughout the book that they are able to overcome their fears and find their own HEA. “I can’t help but want him. He makes it so easy to want more. He makes me believe that more might just be in the realm of possibilities.”“You’re not broken, princess, and even if you were, you can sill be put back together.”GOD IS HE HOT!!! He is so incredibly sexy and the things he says made me SWOON!!!I loved this book! The scenes between Alex and Jordan were so hot and had me breaking out into a sweat. There are secrets and lies that had me holding my breath while reading. Desperation of Love will not disappoint. Alice Montalvo-Tribue did a fantastic job with her novel! I am really looking forward to what’s ahead! Beautiful love story filled with lots of angst…but most of all, love!4 Fabulous stars!!!

I was given this book as an ARC for an honest review~I did love this book .. I read this one first and then the first one 2nd. Yep a little backwards, but let me tell you it was easy to follow and you can def read it as a stand alone. I have given this book 4 stars. 4 Beautiful stars, Alex and Jordan. What can I say about these two, but that they have been drawn to each other for over a year and have just not given into what they feel because they both have troubled history with other people that have left them burnt and hurt and torn up. Alex is such a sweet man, and when he decides finally that he wants to take a chance with Jordan, HE goes for it!! Jordan takes a little more convincing. Of course she is a girl so maybe that is why, but her scars run deep and the road is bumpy for both of them, and for their relationship. I did find it very easy to connect to the characters, I found myself drawn to Victor and Elle as well and what do you know that is who the first book is about. It was a beautiful love story that was told very well, and had lots of hot sexual tension. Some great twists that I def did not see coming. Thank you for giving me a chance to review this, I love to review books that I really enjoy, There were a few times I wanted to slap them upside the head and tell the to get their crap together. But I guess that is what makes a good book right?? Can't wait to read more from this author. :)

I LOVED THIS BOOK! It is one of those books that you search for someone else who has read it because you want to tell them and talk to them about it and when you find someone who hasn't read it you want to take them to buy it right then and watch them read it so you can get all your emotions out. There are so many great things about this book but if I tell you then I give stuff away and I hate spoiling things for people. The way that the characters are written is amazing and it really lets you get to know them a little better. Now, this is the second book in the series so if you haven't read Translation of Love then go get it NOW and read it. So our favorite characters are back in this one. You know who they are (unless you didn't read the first book that you should) Victor, Elle, Jordan, Alex, Mamma Garza, and a few others. I admit I was not always happy with Jordan and Alex. I love them both and my heart hurt for them. There is just so much emotion in this book and you are loving character one minute and then hating them the next and then back to loving them. You question how things can happen and then get your answers and it hits you like a brick wall. SO MANY THINGS I want to talk about but you just need to read it yourself. One thing that I got out of this is a reminder that things aren't always what they seem and that sometimes there are great reasons for things that happen.

I need more Garza brothers!Jordan provided a supportive and steady foil for her best friend Ellie but hid much of her inner pain behind a calm façade and a string of relationships that never lasted. Victor’s brother Alex provided unwavering loyalty and love to his sibling who he felt was his only true family. Ellie and Victor’s relationship grew and the attraction between Jordan and Alex quietly brewed on the sidelines until the night of the wedding. That night created the first of a string of misunderstandings which provided the increasing drama between the two would-be lovers. So many barriers seemed to stand in their way with Jordan’s refusal to believe she could sustain a lasting relationship providing the crux of many of their problems. As in the first book of the series, the rhythm of this story seemed to follow the same pattern with conflicts interspersed with moments of understanding and steamy lovemaking. While a bit predictable the story was told very well and held my interest from start to finish. The characters continued to grow and revealed more of themselves with Ellie and Victor now providing support and love to the new main characters. The scenes with Jordan and Alex’s parents provided some of the most heart-wrenching moments in the series. I loved this second installment and hope, with the featuring of additional secondary characters, that there will be more to come in this emotional series.

I could't put this book down. The 5 Star rating doesn't seem sufficient on this one. Where are more stars when you need them! This book is filled with such angst, I wasn't sure my heart could take it. Alice Montalvo-Tribue takes us on a journey with Jordan & Alex that is so gut wrenching at times it feels like the air is being sucked out of the room. What I expected to be a sweet love story unfolding with the older brother of latin superstar Victor Garza and the best friend of his wife Elle that we met in Translation of Love turned out to be something entirely different. The constant battle of trying to find the right feelings, trying to hold on to something you know is there but is just out of your reach - that was Desperation of Love. I LOVED THIS STORY! I loved the characters, each and everyone one of them. I swear I could physically feel the pain they were going through. The love that hit them when they least expected it was monumental because of the secrets that dictated their lives, some were their own secrets while others were held by others. Read this book! Feel this story unfold and walk away not feeling the connections? I don't think it's possible. Thank you Alice Montalvo-Tribue for sharing Alex & Jordan's story with us. I can't wait for your next book to be released!

Back with book two for another emotionally devoid lead character. The females in this series are super frustrating to me. They use avoidance, drama, manipulation and just play run away. That’s why they are so relatable and I like reading books to see how they transition.Self-proclaimed drama queen, saboteur, riddled with abandonment issues Jordan is a hard woman to take. Alex, Victor’s brother from book one, is up for the challenge and complies with every wish Jordan demands.Unlike book one, this is tale is more focused on the growth of both characters. There are life altering moments for both and they both fall into the habits of deflecting and isolation to cope. It’s like watching a slow motion car wreck as it becomes a self-fulfilling prophecy.I really enjoyed the reappearance of characters. I first came to know of Tribue’s work through Contractual and as I found the characters and their behaviour frustrating, the books are still enjoyable. There is closure, growth and I certainly can see where there might be an opening for another book. I was kindly provided with a free copy of this book from the author to provide an honest review. Receiving this book for free did not influence my opinion nor review. BUY DESPERATION OF LOVE VIA AMAZON

Alex and Jordan were great. Jordan can definitely try the patience of a saint - at times I wanted to slap some sense into her LOLAlex was great - so patient, loving and strong. He just wanted to love on Jordan and help her see what was right in front of her. He tried so hard with her but at some points I was like just walk away already - I was hurting for him during some scenes. Then my heart really broke for him and the secrets his parents kept from him.Ms. Jordan - she is a hot mess. I loved her and wanted to throttle her all at the same time LOL She is strong and independent but her own worse enemy. She means well and at some points I was not sure if she even realized the ass she was being - she got it together but still has a long road to healing ahead of her.Again Lucia was a nut case but again came around in the end. I want to like her but she was an evil witch to both Victor and Alex but it was even worse for my sweet Alex. So Alice... will we get a book 3 to see where Alex and Jordan's life goes next and of course we need to know how lil Ms. Ava turns out and if she's a daddy's girl or not... I think a book 3 with more haling for Jordan and updates on the rest of the crew is a MUST!!!

Oh My gawddd.I absolutely LOVED this book!!!!!Book one as well. Great writing, awesome characters, and wonderful story line. I am happliy married, BUT if I wasn't I would be in route for an Alex. He was wonderful in SOOOO many ways, and if you read this book, I think you would agree with me. We would probably have to fight over him :]Although in book one I never thought anyone could top his brother Victor, but I was so wrong because Alex did.Alex and Jordon together are amazing and the sex---WOW---BAM---nailed it.Hot, sexy, crazy love!!!These books could end here and would be top on my list, but if they continue, I would hope it would be to tell there story more in depth, like, the wedding, children, ect. Please don't ruin it with cheating, breaking up, horrible negative things. These two books are wonderful by themselves.I will be looking for more from Alice Montalvo-Tribue. Thank you again for smiles, laughter, and tears. I truely enjoyed both book one and two. It's gonna be hard now to start another one, lol.

Yummy cover equals Heather reading the book. Ever need a review make sure your cover is hot and you'll always get one from me, cover who** I am. Alex can't help but love him, and his cockiness, "I'm talking about the fact that every time you and I are within 10 feet of each other, we tend to end up very -" he bites his lip. "Together." I loved being in his mind what's best about this book is that we get both points of view where as in Elle's book we only get hers, "I move my s*** in the bedroom closest to hers. The way I see it, it just gives me easier access to her if I should need it. And I plan on needing it." Typical man always thinking with a certain part of his body. He's kind of a jealous sort and makes sure that other men who know Jordan know that, "he walks over to me, getting in my space. "It is the point. He needed to see what he saw. Now, he got your message loud and clear. He won't bother you again." Yep Alex is the reason I loved this book.

I really liked Translation of Love, so I was hoping for more of the same. This was not anything like it.This is the story of Jordan (Elle's BFF) and Alex (Victor's older brother). Of course they've known each other because of Elle and Victor's relationship, but it's been a slowly moving friendship and now that Alex has chosen to live near E and V, he's decided to try and pursue Jordan. This story is more emotional, but less gripping and dramatic than ToL. There's no violence, just family drama. J and A's story focuses on the personal issues of each of the characters and the influences that others have had on their past relationships and their relationship together. I generally like these kinds of books, but I felt this was uneven -- overwritten in parts and underwritten in others. At least this was not another insta-love story.

After Elle and Victor story I was not sent sure if Alex and Jordan's story could match the love and triumphs that Elle and Victor overcame....but I was wrong ! This story captured your heart from the beginning ! Could Jordan stop driving men away, could she open her heart and love ? Can Alex have the patience to put up with Jordan trying to push him away ? You get to see the whole family together and how there lives are progressing which makes your heart skip a beat at times ! Will 3 small words with the most meaning of all bring them together or break them apart ? I can't wait for Gavin's story and to see the other family members again ! I have to say I laughed, cried, yelled at my iPad while reading and also found two favorite sayings in this book...." Your a Brat " and " I want a baby too ". LOVE ALEX !

Great book, but I liked the first book a little better. I loved the character of Alex, treated like a nobody by his mother because she only was interested in Victor the music star, Alex falls for one person who doesn't want to let anyone in. I liked and disliked Jordan at the same time. I liked the spit fire in her what I didn't like were all her excuses for not letting Alex in. Just because your parents divorced you can't trust a man in a relationship? Alex is a great guy and great book boyfriend material. He waits patiently for Jordan, but how much can he take. When he finds out a secret from his past and realizes that Jordan knows and didn't tell him will Alex stay or finally give up on Jordan and her crazy reasoning for not letting him in.

Oh I hate to admit I was wrong, but I have shifted my alliances to Team Alex! My lovely author friend said this could happen, but I remained neutral until I finished reading Desperation of Love. First I must say...This book was so very good. I loved it even more than Translation of Love, and that's saying something, because that was amazing too. When I enjoy a book on this level, I tend to get very wordy in my reviews, and I would not want to spoil this book for anyone who hasn't had the opportunity to read it yet. My advice??? Read these books. You will not be disappointed. These Garza brothers really sent me spinning in many directions, but I was happy to do so. 5 stars all the way! Happy Reading:) xoxo
