Jason and Becca’s first date is... unconventional. In fact, Jason was supposed to be going out with Becca’s best friend, Nell. Nell and Jason’s best friend Kyle realized they had feelings for each other right before Jason’s date. Just his luck. Nell lets it slip that Becca has had a crush on Jason for a while and he should take her out instead. So he does. Jason feels a little awkward. He doesn’t want Becca to feel bad, like she is his second choice. He does like her. Becca can’t believe Jason would want to go out with her at all. He’s a popular football player and although she’s a beautiful girl, she is shy, into her studies and has a stutter. I’d been in love with Jason Dorsey since forever, but he didn’t even know I existed, except as Nell’s awkward friend.Jason and Becca start dating at sixteen. Jason has a far from ideal home life. His father is a police officer and an abusive asshole, and his mother is kind of in her own world. No one knows about his life except Kyle. He intends to keep it that way. Just two years left and he won’t have to deal with it anymore. It made me tough, he said. It was for my own good, he said. He was right, in a way, though; it did make me tough. No tackle would ever hurt as much as his fists.
Becca’s home life isn’t perfect either, but its much different from Jason’s. Her parents are very strict. She has to perform in school perfectly, has a curfew with ‘check ins’ and dating is off limits. Becca has spent her life trying to be perfect. She is already taking college classes. She has a speech impediment she has been dealing with her whole life. Becca has a brother named Ben who is pretty opposite of her. He has some mental issues and occasionally uses drugs. He is a wild child. Becca tries to overcompensate for her brother and his issues. She loves Ben, but his relationship with their parents is even more difficult. Becca and Jason eventually get her parents used to the idea of them dating. Jason doesn’t try to involve his parents. In fact, he tries to stay as far away as possible. Becca knows whats going on, and she wants to know more, to be there for Jason, but he has trouble letting her. “Who you are is who you are, because of what you go through. I like who you are. i want to help you. I want you to tell me things. I want you to trust me.”Becca and Jason are there for each other through high school. Their relationship is sweet, sexy, new. They are each others first loves and figuring everything out together. Becca and Jason’s story spans from sixteen, until they are in their early twenties. There are some MAJOR MAJOR things that happen in that gap. Things you have to read for your self. Be prepared for tears. All I’m going to say is ‘the letter’ at 73%. I was a hot sobbing mess. Seeing all the things this couple went through, the milestones, love, laughter, heartache, devastation, pain, triumph... what a journey it was. It is so rare that I read a book and neither one of the main characters do anything to annoy me or piss me off. Jason and Becca were those characters. I absolutely adored the both of them Neither was perfect, they both had struggles individually and as a couple, but their relationship only grew stronger with those struggles. All the conflict was from the outside, I loved the lack of relationship drama! Becca goes through something devastating. Jason never leaves her side. He never will. All he wants to do is help her to live again.Jason Dorsey. He was almost too perfect. The most caring, patient, and kind guy ever. Becca and Jason have something real. It’s true. Jason knew it from the beginning and he wouldn’t do anything to jeopardize his relationship with Becca. He loves her so much. All he wants in life is to be the man she deserves. You will swoon for Jason Dorsey. It’s a fact. “I wouldn’t give you up for anything.” My motivation in life was to be a good enough man for her, worthy of her awesomeness.“It’s my highest duty in life to take care of you, protect you.”Jasinda’s writing is seriously magical. This woman can write. Everything I have read by her has been nothing short of amazing. Falling Into You was an incredible read, but I have to say- I enjoyed this even more than Falling Into You. There was just something about this book. It took me on an emotional journey that I won’t be forgetting. Becca and Jason’s story will evoke all sorts of feelings... I was happy, devastated, smiling, giggling, sobbing, pretty much all over the place. But then again, isn’t that the best kind of book? When reading takes you somewhere else entirely and brings out those types of emotions. It was fantastic to see into Nell and Colt’s future. I loved that they played a pretty big part in the last 25% or so of the book. One of my favorites this year! I want to give this MORE than 5 stars. An incredible read!!!

Review to come :)THE STORY YOU THOUGHT YOU KNEWWhen Kyle Calloway died, he took a part of Nell with him. She wasn't the only one left to pick up the pieces, however; Kyle's death left a gaping hole in the hearts and lives of his parents and his older brother Colton, and ultimately broke the will of the girl he loved.THE STORY YOU NEVER IMAGINEDBecca de Rosa is Nell's best friend. When Kyle died, Nell was so devastated that no one could reach her, not even her best friend Becca. As she tries to help Nell through her grief, Becca's own life is thrust into turmoil, and everything she knows is changed.Jason Dorsey asked Nell out the week after her sixteenth birthday, but that date never happened. He had no way of knowing the tragedies and triumphs he would experience, or that in Becca, he might find the love of a lifetime. THE HEARTACHE YOU'LL NEVER FORGETTo be released: June 2013.**********From the author (May 15, 2013):Ok, there is so much being posted about Falling Into Us everywhere and I want to clear a few things up before you see the cover and teasers. When I wrote Falling Into You I didn't intend on writing another book. I've now expanded the story because the readers wanted more and hey, I want to give you what you want. :) That said, Falling Into Us takes place during the exact same place and time as Falling Into You. It isn't really a POV change because the story goes into other directions not explored in FIY. Will you see more of Colt and Nell? YES! Will you see more Kyle? Yes! YES! Could you read and enjoy Falling Into Us without reading FIY? Yes. Will you fall in love with new characters? Yes! Will you get on one crazy emotional roller coaster again? Will you enjoy it as much as Falling Into You? I sure freaking hope so.

Another Awesome Jasinda Wilder Ride!!!My Jason....Jason's one of the cool guys I school...makes good grades, #1 high school wide receiver in the state, sexy, funny.. he appears to have it all but that's just on the surface.. what everyone else sees expect for his best friend Kyle ( from Falling into You). Kyle knows that Jason's dad is a loser motherfucker that's a drunk and beats the shit out of Kyle. Jason can always do better on the football field and nothing he ever does is good enough. You see, Jason's dad had a chance to go pro back in his college days but an injury sidelined him and he never made it back. He takes it all out on Jason....Becca..Sweet, beautiful, shy Becca.. she's bff's with Nell from Falling into You. She has NO social life besides Nell because her parents keep her completely sheltered. She's beyond smart, always does the right thing. Secretly, she's also a poet. Poetry is like her life journal and that's where all of her thoughts and feelings go...because there she never stutters. Becca has worked a lifetime to overcome her problems with speech. She rarely stutters anymore expect when she's very nervous or upset.. so she turns to her poetry for release I can’t even shout my anger Can’t even scream my frustration Can’t even curse It would only come out a jumble “Fu— fu-fu-fuck you!” Fu fu fu fu Bu bu bu bu   Duh duh duh Childish stumbling words Tripping syllables and slippery syntactic screw-ups That’s me   The silent girl The stutterer The prisoner The smart girl The valedictorian scribbling maledictions to no oneWell.. Jason, Kyle, Nell and Becca have known each other since they were very young and while Becca has always had a secret crush on Jason, Jason's always had a thing for Nell. He asks Nell out finally but before he finally picks her up for the date he's been waiting forever for, she calls and cancels. Her and Kyle finally realized what they feel for each other. So Nell pushes him to call Becca, telling him that Becca's always had a thing for him and he won't regret it. So he does.. and that one phone call changes their lives forever. He decides to be up front with Becca and tell her exactly what happened with Nell.. that he's always had a thing for Nell but he always thought Becca was HOT and sweet. He's not thinking of her as second choice but more like not letting the opportunity to really get to know Becca and find out what he might have been missing that was right in front of him all along...It doesn't take too long before they fall deeply in love...their still in high school but they realize what they've found in each other and they are not going to let it go. Their going to hang on to each other through the problems with his abusive dad, her smothering parents, her stuttering, and his need to prove himself over and over on the football field. Their love was so deep and so sweet for two people so young... But I could just feel it, reading this, that this was the couple that falls in love in high school and actually stays together forever. Their love was so sweet..through so many firsts for each other.. it was unbelievably sweet.... This story follows Becca and Jason through high school and college. There are some time jumps so we can see how far the progress with each other. There is plenty of heartache along the way but never from each other. They stick with each other through everything and grow up together, never letting go when life kept throwing shit at them..they never let go. OK.. now all that sweet stuff was beautiful, but I would be totally remiss if I didn't mention how totally f'king hot these two were.. HOLYSHIT MY KINDLE IS ON FIRE HOT!!! Jasinda sure knows how to write some serious steam.. I broke out in a light sweat several times !!!She rolled off me and onto her back, scrabbling at my arms and back to jerk me into place, grasping my ass and pulling me forward, shoving me into her and coiling her powerful legs around my backside and clenching me, pulling, pulling, thrusting with every muscle in her body against me. Her arms wrapped around my neck and she refused to let go, so I pressed my lips to her shoulder and planted my hands next to her ear and settled into a driving, almost punishing rhythm, hard and dirty and relentless, and she only cried out for more.Yea...there were some serious hot moments in this book..*drooling* I love that this book was about a love that was so undeniably strong it could not be broken and at the same time we got some crazy hot panty exploding moments.. wrap all that up on one book and.. WOW !!!! Jasinda Wilder does it again.... this lady has talent and I cannot WAIT to get my hands on her next book. She's an auto buy for me with good reason. Don't let this one pass you up.. it's one of those really feel good books. Even though there's a lot of tragedy for them to both overcome, they never lost sight of each other or what was important. When one of them did start to break, the other was there to mend them and put them back together. I loved every single minute of this book and read it in under a day. I couldn't put it down....

I'm going to be totally honest here; I was scared shitless to read Falling Into Us! No really, should I just go ahead and start drinking now? Maybe run a hot shower so I can sit there alone, crying, and clutching my knees?? I mean hell, the super glue hasn't even dried from piecing my heart back together from Falling Into You (A must read by the way if you haven't). How am I going to survive another one!? HOW!!?? I. Was. Scared. Falling Into Us was a different type of emotion, a different journey. I was falling, but instead of going splat on the pavement, I was caught! I was caught by emotional healing. There was heartache, heartbreak, and loss, but I was healed. Even my wounds from Falling Into You were healed. Both journeys collided. At first, I wasn't even sure I wanted to take a new journey. I didn't want to be pulled away from Nell, Kyle, and Colton. I was so wrapped up in hoping to catch glimpses of their story that I almost missed something right in front of me, something pretty damn amazing. What I found so achingly good about this book was the perfection in which Jasinda Wilder writes coming of age. The teenage characters felt so real, living out actual experiences. Experiences that were so true to life that I questioned it being fiction. Everything from the dialogue to the awkward situations. I lived the "firsts" right along with them. I loved reading the conversations between Kyle and Jason. Two teenage boys discussing relationships and cluelessly leading and learning from each other. In those moments, they were awkward. Beautifully and perfectly awkward. They were real. The countless pages of the "winter formal truck scene"!!! OMG!! It kept going and going, and building, and...and...sweet panting teenage Jesus....it was intense!! Again, not trashy or smutty, but real, so damn real. However, not to totally contradict myself in the very next breath, but a few of the love scenes, especially towards the end, could have been edited or trimmed down. They were hot, but they stopped bringing something new. They brought an element of redundancy. Insanely HOT redundancy, but redundancy just the same. Jasinda Wilder incredibly brought closure to not one, but two beautiful stories. Two journeys collided. Four hearts healed. Bringing back Colton and Nell wasn't just genius, it expressed one of the main things that I love about reading Jasinda Wilder. Her books give us entirety. I never feel slighted or incomplete; she gives closure in everything she writes. I accept that last page because I feel it; I feel the ending. Jasinda Wilder writes completeness. And in this moment, I am complete!READ ON!Check out more reviews at http://www.toughcriticbookreviews.blo...BOOK TRAILER FOR Falling Into You: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cAXSOi...

Woahhhh!!! I`m Fully Dosed With Jam-Packed Emotions That was Earth Shatteringly & Mindbogglingly Another Master Blaster From Jasinda Wilder--------------------------“I love you,” he whispered. “I love you so much,....” Reading Falling Into Us was an extra ordinary roller-coaster emotional experience.... I`d Cried, Cursed, Smile, OGLE, DROOLED and God's know what because it is indeed a Heart-wrecking story that dragged me back to FIY. I was kinda surprised to find Jason & Becca as powerful and life altering characters as Nell, Kyle & Colt were in Falling Into You and how completely different is Jason and Becca's life's were that it's hard to imagine all the things happening at the same time.....~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*My JasonHe's every girl's Living Breathing Dream, every guy's Look Upto Idol just like his best buddy Kyle. Smart, Funny, Sexy, Remarkable, an A+ student and wide receiver in the state. A picture perfect material of Charming Successful Youth... but what lays under all these perfect layers is hidden from the entire world except from Kyle. Jason's dad is loser abusive cop who drunk himself down until he beat the snot out of him, Jason can't report on his father because he's an authority. His father was pro back back in college until the career stopping injury took place in his life. Jason tries so hard to prove his father that he can be the pro in football field, he pushes himself to the heights of perfection that`d made him an amazing player but Jason knew that it'll never be enough to satisfy his father......My BeccaShe's Beautiful, Sweet, Shy,. Likes to keep herself closed and far away from the peering world.... She to smart for her own good and she's been playing Piano since she was four and she's like to write poetry.... though no one knows about her poetic abilities as she kept it a secret, she likes to express her feelings through the poetry whenever she gets upset, nervous or just want to get away from the life she's forced to be lived.Becca is that kind of girl who'll end in puddles if a guy just even looks her way. She can't get angry, can't hurt anyone. It' like a NO GO AREA for her. I can’t even shout my anger Can’t even scream my frustration Can’t even curse It would only come out a jumble “Fu— fu-fu-fuck you!” Fu fu fu fu Bu bu bu bu Duh duh duh Childish stumbling words Tripping syllables and slippery syntactic screw-ups That’s me The silent girl The stutterer The prisoner The smart girl The valedictorian scribbling maledictions to no oneThe only best friend she has is Nell because she has no social life outside her 24/7 study routine, her parents are one of those who pushes schoolwork at their kids like there's no life outside the books and if you don't show up with straight A's in your grades you'll be in deep Shit!.~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*Jason & Becca's story started back in Falling Into You when Jason's friends dared him to ask Nell out on a date because back than he had a thing for her. Anyway the date never stood a chance to take place as we all know that Kyle & Nell ended up together in. So, when Kyle poured his heart out in Nell's hand while Jason was waiting for her at her door she called him and told him to ask Becca out instead and she kind of set`em both up by tipping him with a slip about Becca having a long time crush on him. That was enough to trigger the chemistry between Jason and Becca. We get to see what was happening in Nell and Colt lives from their perspectives. How Becca trying to reach Nell when that horrible incident happened and they lost Kyle, Nell made her promised to never tell anyone about her cutting and the things happening between her and Colt......... but Most Amazing part was.... Nell & Colt getting married *OKAY... Time for Group Swooning & Squeeing* I think I can share a little Spoiler here ;)(view spoiler)[Colton flipped up the lid of the ring box with his thumb, holding it uptoward Nell. Light caught the facets of a diamond, glinting bright in the dim bar. Nell slid off the stooland knelt with Colt.“You’re supposed to stay up there until I say the words, babe,” Colt said, laughing. (hide spoiler)]Well, Falling Into Us is an emotional story with a filled with perfect amount of Heartaches, Sadness, Sweetness and Romance(coughs).Jason & Becca weren't just first lovers but they happened to be the One & Only "IT" for eachother. Jason is a gentleman who knows how to treat a lady, he's loving, kind, protective and understanding and that's because the abuse he was facing in hi life that made him more reasonable. It's doesn't take long before they`re head over heels for eachother their feelings were so deep and sparking that they hold on to it and made their way to the life they suppose to endure.....“No, Becca. When I kissed you in the parking lot at school, that was my first kiss.”She seemed relieved for some reason. “Mine, too.”“And no, I haven’t done anything else with anyone. Everything with you is a first for me.”The romance between them is so intense and erotic that I thought my edition almost got FIRE! Jasinda made sure to keep her reader running for the cold showers ;) She rolled off me and onto her back, scrabbling at my arms and back to jerk me into place, grasping my ass and pulling me forward, shoving me into her and coiling her powerful legs around my backside and clenching me, pulling, pulling, thrusting with every muscle in her body against me. Her arms wrapped around my neck and she refused to let go, so I pressed my lips to her shoulder and planted my hands next to her ear and settled into a driving, almost punishing rhythm, hard and dirty and relentless, and she only cried out for more.Oh Yes, I was left with fanning my face for I don't know how long.... and than drooling all over the book like some lunatic! So don't blame me while you`re at FIU that i didn't warn you guys ;)Beside Jason, Becca was so close to her big buddy brother Ben. He helped his sister sneak out on dates with Jason, he wanted her to live a life people of her age should suppose to be living, making mistakes, getting drunk, date some silly guy so he can kick that guy's ass. The bond Ben and Becca shared was heart-melting, He was another strong element in this book that I was actually seeing him having a separate book on his life but all my hopes went flying out of the window after what happened to him.(view spoiler)[Goodbye.BenjaminP.S. Becca, you remember the tree? That’s where I’ll be. *Ben's last letter to Becca* (hide spoiler)]And I F* cried buckets and buckets for I don't know how long. It was living the horror and pain of Falling Into You once again. And I was convinced that Becca will lose it all, the way she started acting, Jason trying to reach her but she was getting far away with her fear of forgetting Ben. Those were the moments when we get so see how strong and understanding Jason is when it comes to saving Becca from her own self. He helped her heal that ugly scar of losing someone so close to her heart, who'll never want her to live a life the way she started living it. Jason make her realize that she's not alone and he's not letting her to become a shadow of pain and misery, so she has to face the reality.... ~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*Ahhhh..... there ain't enough word to tell how am I feeling about this book. Jason and Becca touched the part of my heart I`m afarid they'll never leave there. But darn! I'll never ever ever let them leave. Falling Into Us is YOU-DARE-NOT-MISS-THIS-PIECE-OF-GEM book.... I must read, a life time experience you don't have often.... So, those you haven't read Falling Into You have no idea what you are missing here. These are not just Hearts and Flowers they gave you a bitter taste of a real life that made you feel so close to all the characters from these books["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>

I want to start this review out with a bit of insight because if you think for one second that this book is about Kyle or Nell or Colton...you would be wrong, well for maybe eighty percent of it.I didn't get that from the blurb...sure, I knew there would be things about Becca and Jason but I thought they would be telling us about Kyle and Nell and Colton...NOT that it was their story. And I was disappointed...sad but true, that is, until I decided that I just needed to get over it. That's when I really started enjoying things. I only wish I knew that from the beginning because it was hard to let go of wanting to know more about Kyle, Nell and Colton. So the bottom line is...this is a story about young love that grows and matures between Becca and Jason, sprinkled with interesting tidbits about Kyle, Nell and Colton and with a few bonus scenes of them but mainly towards the end. Okay, onto Becca and Jason. Like I said...I was disappointed at first and I had a hard time getting into their story but once I did, I really liked it. I think JW did a wonderful job creating a story about a young love that develops over time. I also really enjoyed how she created the characters...that even though they have a lot of good qualities, they still have some flaws and that made them easier to relate to. Becca is an interesting character...she seems so self driven and sure of herself but then we learn that she has had a life time struggle with stuttering and her Dad. It was no surprise how strict her parents were but I loved how Jason handled it. Jason comes off as kind of cocky especially in the beginning but I loved seeing how he took care of Becca. It was hard reading about him and his Dad especially with how close to reality that is for a lot of people. It was wonderful how Becca was always there for him and seemed to be able to get through and calm him. I just love how well JW does sex scenes! Again, the evolvement of two virgins to season pros (!) was great to read about. I can't help thinking of Becca and Jason as the M.O.C. (hint...M = Multiple). It was impressive! If you haven't read Falling Into You, I'm not sure that you will understand everything in regards to Kyle, Nell and Colton. All of it was just cherries for me and I couldn't get enough. I especially like the new material and the postscript at the end and with "K". Poor Becca and Jason don't have things easy either. There's a huge drama with Becca's brother, Ben, but you can almost see it coming. I was amazed at how I sort of didn't like him at first but he grew on me. I really thought the relationship between Becca and Ben was really sweet. But whatever happened with Kate and you-know-who? Nothing was mentioned later! I loved all the scenes with BKD and I thought that made the story so much....more! The scenes where Nell and Colton were involved were even better. Overall, I enjoyed it...I just wish I knew what the story was about going in. It probably would've been much better for me if I did. Don't miss out on some bonus scenes...Colt at the hospital: http://shhmomsreading.com/blog-tour-a...I liked getting a different POV on it but my favorite was the parts with Colton and Jason.A wedding: http://aestasbookblog.com/falling-int...I thought this was really sweet. I loved who Jason's best man was. And of course, of course, they would in a church! ;)And I just love this book video:Falling Into UsFavorite quotes:♥ “P-p-promise?” She caught my lower lip between her teeth and pulled it away. “For-for-forever?” “And then some.”♥ “He’s…everything I never knew I needed."♦ “Here’s the deal, though. Real men watch girly shit with their wives, and they don’t bitch about it. Because you know what? When you’re done watching that girly shit, your woman is happy. And what do happy women do? They take you to bed and bang your brains out.”

Oh. My. God. 5 stars !!!!!!!!!!!!!I'm the hottest of hot messes!! My heart just went through a blender twice !!! Again over and over. Pain. Such beautiful pain !JasonHow am I supposed to breathe when you're so beautiful?BeccaI’d been in love with Jason Dorsey since forever, but he didn’t even know I existed, except as Nell’s awkward friend.Ok for those of you who read book one this is when Jason's character was introduced. I didn't think at the time, that there was going to be another book. But boy am I glad. I loved Jason and Becca's story. However, the event that happened in Falling into You was written into Falling into Us.....and my heart just went through the blender AGAIN. As I was reading along, I was so anxious....I knew that there was going to be more wreckage in THIS book..... Nothing.Would.Have.Prepared.Me.Jason and Becca's first date was kind of by default. These two grew up together....Becca is this sheltered, shy, stuttering girl who had always crushed on Jason. Jason is this football star, popular guy, and he has a family secret....so this was a perfect opportunity for two totally opposite worlds to collide. There is something about YA books that make me so anxious! I guess it's reading about characters journeys into adulthood ....and remembering and relieving my youth and my oh so many stupid mistakes! This book takes us on a journey starting when they were 16 and then into college life and ends with a glimpse into a gorgeous forever. I loved the time span !!! It gave me the chance to see how they really were meant for each other and how they grew together. More than just high school love.....this story unraveled at the perfect pace and I fell in love with how they handled LIFE. "Did you mean it less because you stuttered a little bit?""No! I mean it so much. I love you, Jason."I love how these two grew together. Becca was determined to accomplish a lot in her life despite her speech impediment. Jason.....his home life....my heart was bleeding for him. They faced obstacles that I thought were real. Strict father, abusive father, death of a friend, blind-eye mothers, incredible great big brother......You will really be gripped by this story and the side characters. The chapter titles were amazing. I know I was reading some magic!!!! I can't say much more except from that damn 75% marker on.....I was a sobbing fool. The story was just beautiful. I was complete and I closed this book and thought WOW....INCREDIBLE !!!!!!“No, Becca. When I kissed you in the parking lot at school, that was my first kiss.”She seemed relieved for some reason. “Mine, too.”“And no, I haven’t done anything else with anyone. Everything with you is a first for me.”I can't promise forever Beck. I can't promise forever because that's not long enough.

"God, Becca. Kissing you is...it's seriously the best thing ever."I touched my lips, knowing they were swollen. "It's dangerous, I think.""What is?" Jason asked."You and me kissing.""Why?"I met his eyes, let him see all my rolling emotions. "Because I never want to stop. I could kiss you until I suffocate." I loved every moment I spent reading this book. Becca and Jason may be my favorite book couple yet. It's so incredibly rare to find a woman as sure of herself and what she wants as Becca. And what she wants is some serious higher learning and Jason. Jason could've been written so many different ways, but he never strayed from being a kind, considerate and faithful boyfriend with a little bit of badass thrown in for good luck. Together these two were magic for me, through the good times and the devastatingly bad times. Regardless of what Becca and Jason were going through, they were always a pleasure to read about and I'm so glad I got to share a little bit of their journey.

I have book signing photos with Jasinda here - Jacqueline's Reads I’m thoroughly addicted to you, Becca. If I don’t get a regular fix of your body, I might go into withdrawal5 SHOOTING STARSDamn you Jasinda Wilder, damn your brilliant writing, damn your fantastic stories, damn your enduring and lovable characters. I want to hate you because of all the emotions you make me feel, but I can’t because I absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE you!Okay, enough of me being a fan girl. BUT let me just say this. I loved Wounded, I loved Falling Into You and damn it… I freaking loved Falling Into Us.I really don’t know how Wilder does it? Does she have like this magic fairy that tells her what perfect writing is? If so, please do not stop whatever you are doing Jasinda because you have a number one fan FOR LIFE![Disclaimer]Yes, this is book 2 of the Falling series and you do not have to read book 1, Falling Into You to understand Falling Into Us. There is some overlapping (since this is a parallel story), so it’s up to you on which read you pick up first. My advice, if you can’t handle a deep emotional book, then start with Falling into Us first.[Summary]Becca is Nell’s best friend (Nell is the Heroine in Falling into You) and Becca is your typical goodie girl. Becca obeys and respects her parents, she doesn’t have a social life and her number one focus is school. Jason is super star athlete and dreamy drool worthy male. After years of crushing on Nell, Jason finally asks Nell out on a date. Nell backs out last minute and suggests Jason ask Becca instead because Nell knows Becca has a major crush on him. Jason and Becca are complete opposites, but despite 100% different backgrounds and circumstances keeping them apart, attraction and an relationship is forged.[Becca]Becca.is.my.FAVORITE heroine YES! I said it. I basically have a girl crush on her, I basically want to be her best friend, I basically want to be her, oh wait… I was her. Okay, I’m Asian American, and yep, I had the 10PM curfew, I wasn’t allowed to date in high school, I wasn’t allowed to have a job and school was my number one focus. Did I go a little boy crazy because my parents were strict? Yes, I did and with that said. I so get Becca and I freaking love her! [Jason]Oh LORD, Jason was awesome, he was perfect. I’m not really into jocks and the whole football thing does nothing for me, but sheesh, you can’t but help but break for Jason or take your clothes off, so he can jump you. Right off, we know Jason’s story and I really got into that. I felt like with each chapter, I got a little bit more of Jason and I just fell in love with him more and more. Jason has a lot of pressure to maintain his number one super star athlete status. His main goal is to get a full scholarship and eventfully get picked up to play pro.Oh, no. I’m happily addicted. I don’t have many vices, you know. I don’t really drink, don’t smoke, I’m not into partying or anything like that. But you? I’m very much into you. I wouldn’t give you up for anything.[My FAN.GIRL.REVIEW]I was a little cautious stepping into this read because of [Falling into You]. I really didn’t know what to expect and like always, I was just blown away and shocked. My thoughts and feelings during this read…At 7%, I’m girl crushing hard on BeccaAt 39% I have a HUGE grin on my face and can’t stop smilingAt 54% I am blown away with the story lineAt 72% I am bawling ugly fat tears (okay it’s not that bad, but it’s pretty emotional)At 100% I just had a book orgasmAll things aside, the first half is really light-hearted and really cute. I especially loved (view spoiler)[that Becca and Jason were virgins, Oh.My.God, I loved it! (hide spoiler)] I mean, how cute can you be Jasinda! Having this read parallel to [Falling Into You] isn’t a big deal, Falling into Us truly reads as a standalone novel. There is some Nell and Becca interaction, but the main story is Becca and Jason. It was like falling over the edge; once you lost your balance and began the tumble, you couldn’t stop your descentThe second half the story shifts and it gets a little bit more emotional, but like I said, I loved it and it was perfect. I was just enthralled into the Jason and Becca dynamics. I wanted to be part of their lives and just ride along with their journey. You feel for them as individuals and you feel for them as a couple. Oh and the steam is top-notch girlfriends! When you finish reading Falling Into Us you basically want to roll over and have a cigarette, it’s just that good people! {The Following Questions were inspired by Jasinda's pre-release announcement. }1. Did I fall in love with new characters?2. Did I get on one crazy emotional roller coaster again? 3. Did I enjoy it as much as Falling Into You?So my dear readers,Falling Into Us had everything I was looking for in a novel.- No fairytale- No perfect life- No perfect characters It feltREAL ...THE STORY THOUGHT YOU KNEW:Jason Dorsey asked Nell out the week after her sixteenth birthday, but that date never happened. Instead he ended up going out with Nell’s best friend, Becca de Rosa.Becca: ”I am not alone-the truth is I befriended my loneliness.”Becca is the perfect goodie-goodie girl. She’s shy, smart, kind, exquisite, and RICH!She seems to have the perfect life.Yet , Becca’s life is not as easy as it seems. She doesn’t have a social life because her parents are very strict. No dating, No friends, Nothing…. Everything that has a potential at becoming a threat to her academic life is not allowed.Becca de Rosa is also a poet, a freaking good one at that too. Her journal is like a sacred book because poetry is her only solace. Then she meets Jason…Jason: ”It’s my highest duty in life to take care of you, protect you.”Sighs…Funny, sarcastic, kind, understanding, loveable, and most importantly very SEXY… He’s also the best wide receiver in the state. But my dear readers, Jason’s life is far from perfect. Other than Kyle, no one knows that Jason’s dad abuses him. His life at home is a living hell. Starting with his shell of a mother, his freak of a father, and the fact he could NOT do anything about it. Why? His father is the town’s police officer. Simply put, Jason’s life sucks for real. Then he meets Becca… THE STORY YOU NEVER IMAGINED: Jason Dorsey had no way of knowing, then, how one date would send him on a life-long journey with Becca. He had no way of knowing the tragedies and triumphs he would experience, or that in Becca he might find the love of a lifetime. My Favorite Quote: - "He caught the desperation in my eyes, my voice, and he didn’t question it, didn’t hesitate for a split second. “I can’t promise you forever, Beck.” Tears started in my eyes at what sounded like a rejection, but he kissed them away, silencing me by speaking over my protest. “I can’t promise you forever, because that’s not long enough.” THE HEARTACHE YOU’LL NEVERFORGET

It was okay read, nothing special but i still liked it, even though lot of things bothered me.I didnt like that he had crush on her friend. I started this book without looking at the blurb so at the beginning i was like. Hm so the heroine is gonna be Nell i guess, but why he is saying that her friend Becca is hot too? He should be all about the heroine. Later i found out that its actually book about Jason and Becca. Lol, what? Did he really need to have crush on her best friend? I felt like the heroine was second choice and even though H said that she wasnt it wasnt explained much. I wish it wouldnt be just brushed off, i really needed the reassurance and i didnt get it. And everytime when Nell showed up i was cringing and thinking what would happen if she didnt cancel the date with Jason."I’d been in love with Jason Dorsey since forever, but he didn’t even know I existed, except as Nell’s awkward friend." - Im NOT happy about it. Not at all, but i continued reading anyway. It also seemed that author just cant let go the couple from the first book. (Nell, Colton) I had feeling like they were everywhere. If i would want to read so much about them i would have read their book and not this one.Jason and Becca are really great characters and there really isnt anything about them i wouldnt like (except the Nell thing). They are each others everything and just perfect couple. I usually dont like when heroine is the aggressor in the relationship but i didnt mind at all in this one and thought that it was nice change and i liked it. I appreciate that there wasnt any drama (OW/OM) or fights between couple which would led to separation, its just in so many books that im suprised everytime its not used. Also loved that we can see them as a couple through the years. The big problem is that ist just boring, i was skimming trough some parts when its seemed too long and i dont have the feeling that i missed something.Nothing really happens. There is just death, another death, someone ends up in the hospital (not MC) and after a while i was just rolling my eyes because it was just too much tragedy for a romance book.It ended abruptly in my opinion but they got their HEA. (view spoiler)[ Married and have children (hide spoiler)]It can be read as standalone, and im not planning to read others in this series (because of triggers).SAFETY:(view spoiler)[Both virgins. Even each other first kiss.No one after meeting. No OW or OM drama. No rape but there is domestic violence from Hs father. (hide spoiler)]

"The only way past the pain is through it. You can't escape it. You can't ignore it. Pain, grief, anger, misery... they don't go away - they just increase and compound and get worse. You have to live through them, acknowledge them. You have to give your pain its due."Jasinda Wilder, you complete me. Just when I thought nothing could ever compare to Falling into You, you gave me Becca and Jason and turned my world upside down. I will be honest, I was afraid of this book. I felt that a second book in the series would take away from and could never live up to the perfection of its prequel, since the story of Nell and Colton was not only a truly epic tale of loss, healing and finding love again, but also one of the sexiest books I have ever had the pleasure of reading... and re-reading. Well, I admit I was wrong and I should have trusted Ms Wilder to blow my mind once more. This book was outstanding, unforgettable, so different from the prequel and yet so inspiring in its own right. But we warned, if you are expecting a Nell and Colton sequel, you will be disappointed because while this book follows the same timeline as Falling into You, it has different main characters and theirs is a parallel storyline, but with shared events that deeply affected all the characters and with frequent cross-overs. I will tell you only this, you will not be disappointed. Not for one second. Our heroine is Becca, Nell's best friend since childhood. She is a shy, quiet, conscientious young girl who never strayed from her responsibilities, always a brilliant student and model daughter to her overprotective parents. The story starts from that moment in Falling into You when Nell stands Jason up on their first date and tells him he should ask her friend Becca out instead because she's always had a crush on him. One date is all it takes for these two teenagers to realise they were made for each other. But their relationship is not rushed, it is timed perfectly, showing us two young people falling in love slowly, naturally, irrevocably. We watch them have all their firsts, mesmerised by their innocence, curiosity, fear, and yet nothing is overdone and even the most innocent of acts such as holding hands has the power of leaving us breathless. Each milestone in their relationship is earned and we see them grow together as individuals, drawing strength from their connection and giving each other the courage to be the people they always wanted to become."I wasn't sure where we were or where we were going or what time it was, and I didn't care. I turned my head and met his eyes, and then, with a deep breath, slid my hand underneath his. His eyes widened and his breath hitched, but he didn't hesitate to wind his fingers between mine. He smiled, and everything was better than fine."Becca's progression from a shy and softly spoken teenager with a speech impediment to a confident woman unafraid to express what she wants was beautifully written. We get to understand what drives her, what stalls her and where her strength comes from. The contrast between the restrained woman that she was in everyday life and the one that would `come out to play' during moments of intimacy with Jason made this character impossible not to love. The fire that was suppressed under her gentle exterior was truly palpable and it floored me that only Jason's love made her comfortable enough to show her true self to him."You'd never think it, but my quiet, hyper-intelligent, overachieving, rule-following girlfriend was a voracious, insatiable lover."But Becca's true strength lies in her empathy and ability to love unconditionally - nothing less could have made her survive the constant heartaches in her life.Jason, on the other hand, did not have a home life to set strong foundations for the man he ends up becoming. The only thing he learnt to rely on was himself and that he had two choices in life - follow his father's example and become the product of his own upbringing, driven by bitterness over a life he would never end up living, or break the cycle and purposely become the very opposite of his father. Becca's love plays a great role in this, but I believe they are each other's pillars of strength - the perfect yin and yang - and their bond is the only reason they manage to weather the storms of life."What if... what if I turn into him? What if I am like him?"Be prepared to cry, be prepared to scream, be prepared to build a shrine to Jasinda Wilder because this book is going to own you. I have been struggling to pinpoint the reason why these stories move me so deeply, why every scene manipulates my emotions so effortlessly, and I think I have finally found an explanation - Ms Wilder writes from her heart and you can sense that in every single word. This book might appear as just another book about first loves and the lessons learned along the way, but don't be fooled - she will break your heart, sometimes more than once, she will make you remember your own past, your own firsts, your own heartaches, your own hangups, and she will make it all better by giving you a story that you will never forget."My motivation in life was to be a good enough man for her, worthy of her awesomeness."See this review on my blog! | Follow me on Facebook! | Follow me on Twitter!

Falling Into Us is another winner from author Jasinda Wilder. This is Jason and Becca’s story whom we met in the first book, Falling Into You. Their journey begins as sixteen year olds in High School and will take the reader through the tragedies and triumphs that will alter and shape their lives. You’ll not only experience the heartache but the romance, the tenderness and excitement of first love along with the eagerness of their persistent desire. As in the first book, be prepared for pain! JW has the talent of including real life heartache that is gripping in intensity! Her words manipulate the reader and there is one scene of such magnitude and gut-wrenching anguish that I was left raw and stunned. The author gives in depth characters and the issues they face leave no room for contrived performances or trivial, teenage drama. Jason is a beauty; all muscle, strong and the High School football star. Becca is an extremely intelligent, lovely young woman and both are preparing for college in order to pursue their goals and dreams. Through sadness and heartache, happiness and joy, the reader is swept along as their teenage attraction develops over the years into a mature, unshakable love. A highlight is the inclusion of Nell and Colton from Falling Into You. I loved catching up and seeing how far they’ve come in their relationship. I was more than pleased with the Postscript! If you enjoy a sexy, triumphant, YA romance, abounding in emotion along with intense, real life issues and very steamy love scenes, you’ll love this one. It’s very well written and includes characters that you won’t soon forget! Just make sure you have plenty of tissues handy!

Wooowww! Awwww, swoon! *sigh* I'm slightly incoherent, can you tell? Love drunk, I think you might call it.Why did somebody not yell at me to read this sooner? I blame you. All of you. I should have read this when it first came out. I don't even know why I didn't. I'm wavering between five and five + stars with this one... it was so beautiful, yet so tragic. My heart broke, then swelled, then shattered, then warmed... Oh goodness, I was a mess.I totally adored Falling Into You, Nell, Kyle and Colt's story, even though I cried like an absolute baby for so much of it... so when I found out that there was a book #2, I was over the moon. And then I found out that it wasn't a continuation of Colt and Nell, but, in fact, Nell's friends Becca and Jason's story, I was a little miffed. (Ok, remember that point, I'll be coming back to it). I felt cheated. I really wanted to know more about Colt and Nell... so, I guess, there's the reason I didn't dive in sooner. But oh my my my goodness. This is one of the most beautiful romances I've ever read. This isn't about the problems inside a relationship... this is about the problems outside of a relationship and the solace, security, protection, love and home that two people find within one another. We are introduced to Jason in Falling Into You when he asks Nell on a date. Doing this forces Nell and her childhood friend, Kyle (Jason's best friend) to admit their feelings for one another and Nell and Jason's date never happens. Instead, Nell persuades Jason to ask her best friend, Becca out. Becca has had a crush on Jason since fourth grade and, although she is a little sceptical about being second best, she agrees to go out with Jason and their relationship blossoms.Falling Into Us follows Jason and Becca throughout their life together. It deals with the death of Kyle, which we see in book #1, and the effect it has on Becca and Jason. It deals with Becca seeing Nell in turmoil and it introduces us to new characters that have a huge impact on Becca and Jason's lives, including Becca's troubled brother Ben and Jason's abusive father. Obviously, Becca and Jason face their up and downs, as do every couple. Things aren't smooth sailing. But they are so strong together. Possibly the most secure, steadfast book couple I have ever read about. And I absolutely loved that. They are one anothers' first everything. First kiss, first love, first time... it's absolutely precious. If more men were like Jason and more women were like Becca, there would be a lot less divorce and whole lot more head-over-heels in love, sexually sated, secure, happy couples in this world.Becca is awesome. She suffers from a stutter and I actually found it really endearing. She's super super smart, but shy and insecure. She's always had a crush on Jason, but she's always thought he'd never noticed her. I loved seeing her turn from a shy young girl into a confident young woman, under Jason's watchful eye. And that leads me to Jason. Absolutely perfection personified. Seriously, I don't think the guy did a damn thing wrong or put one foot out of place the entire book! He is one of my favourite book boyfriends ever. He loves Becca so fiercely. He protects her, he cares for her, he looks after her... in every situation, he puts her first. Financially, emotionally, physically, sexually. There are some incredible emotional sub plots in this book. A lot of death, grief and trauma. And Jason literally carries his Becca through it all. The pillar of strength. With his bulging muscles and footballers build. There are not enough words for me to describe how much I am crushing on Jason right now. The fact that he is just a fictional character hurts my heart. So, there's the heartache, the sweetness, the tragedy... and then there's the sex. Holy mother of all things hot! Jesus H. Christ. These two are freakin' scorching! There are a few scenes that I thought might cause my Kindle to spontaneously combust. There's the non-sex scene, in Jason's truck, after their winter formal. Ooooh wow. Adorably niave, sensitive, but absolutely smoking, all at the same time! And then as they grow up, become familiar with one another and begin to explore, the sex gets hotter and more adventurous and more exciting. AND, for once, a girl who takes control in the bedroom. Now, don't get me love, it's not for me. I love all of our controlling, dominant sex-God book boyfriends. I really do. But it was a refreshing change to read, from both Jason and Becca's POV, about a sexual relationship where the man just loves the woman so much that he lets her take the reins. He loves to see her come into her own, lead the way and take from him what she wants. It was soooo damn cute. I kind of thought it'd make him seem a bit of a wimp and a bit less attractive. Not at all. He's so strong, physically and emotionally, and he's so secure in himself, his sexuality and his relationship with Becca, that it totally worked. And it was king of like he let her take control, like, really, he was still in charge but he let her think she was. If that makes sense? It was still super sexy.It takes some serious skills to write a novel that is as emotional, profoundly soul wrenching, heart warming and HOT as this book. Jasinda Wilder has those skills in abundance. I felt so much whilst reading this book. I felt sad, happy, content, distraught, heartbroken, turned on... all of it. And... how amazing is it that throughout all of that, through all of those feelings, Becca and Jason remain the strongest couple in book history?! Just wow!So, coming back to wanting more Colt and Nell. Don't worry. You get it. This book is told from the alternating POVs of Becca and Jason. It runs parallel, time wise, to Falling Into You and deals with a lot of the same issues. But it then carries on past the end of book #1 and we get some extra Nell and Colt moments, some perfect scenes that will just melt you on the spot. So, don't worry, you will get your Nell and Colt fix. But, being totally honest, I didn't even need them like I thought I would. Jason and Becca were more than enough for me.Oh, sod it, I'm giving this 5+ stars. I'm really stingy with my 5+ ratings, but I can't think of any reason not to rate this book as highly as possible. I know some people will be dissapointed in the lack of conflict in Becca and Jason's actual relationship, but I just loved that, and writing this review is, on the one hand making me all warm and fuzzy, remembering the way I felt whilst reading the book, but also, gutted that it's over. That's a 5+ star book!!Jasinda is one of my favourite authors. She is one of my 'it's a [insert author name here] book so of course I'll buy it', regardless of the blurb, the cover, etc. etc. I love her writing. It's seemless and addictive. Her characters are to die for and her storylines are always amazing.Falling Into Us StatisticsSteam Rating (out of 5): ♥♥♥♥Ending: HEASeries: ✓ Reading Order: Book #1 - Falling Into You (Falling #1)Book #2 - Falling Into Us (Falling #2)Can this be read as a standalone? I loved this book, even though it felt a bit long. The hero and the heroine though were perfect for each other. They are each other's one and only, as in they never even kissed before and experience everything together. No cheating, OW, OM or separation. It's steamy. The book starts with them in high school and then spans a few years, with the changes that happen with them and their life.

What a beautiful dedication page "You are loved; you are not alone;you are beautiful." Thank you JasindaWhat an outstanding read written so well. When Becca lost her virginity her feelings were spot on. I'm happy the lost of Klye was dragged on in this book I wouldn't have been emotionally able to deal with it again. Damn the sex scenes will make you want to drop your panties as well.

Happy tears, sad tears, OMG tears, and even some "what the heck tears" amid some of the best dialogue and storyline I've read in the YA genre books this year. Amazingly well written and an unforgettable story -- even better than Falling Into You (in my opinion). Jacinda Wilder can tell one amazing story. This one wrapped up any lingering doubts left over from the first book. Although this was basically Jason and Becca's book, revisits with former characters just tied the whole storyline up in a neat package. Not only did we get a happy ever after for Jason and Becca but the final Postcript gave us a second one as well. One of the most priceless and touching moments, for me at least, was reading the words that touched my soul as Colt sang the last song with such meaning and love. Beautifully done, Jasinda Wilder.

Ok I really cried big ugly tears with this one. Wow how much devastation could one person handle? I guess when Kyle died I thought OMG THEY WILL NEVER RECOVER! Then, Ben dies in the worst way possible and I said to myself Ok that's it!!! I can't believe how much loss there was in this book. It was way way too intense for my tear ducts. I am really glad I did not read the first book because just seeing the loss thru a secondary character was devastating! Wow I have no words for this book. It was very very hard hitting and I have to say I am very pleased that I was able to finish it. It was extremely hard read this one. Reading it help me put things into perspective and helped me deal with my own personal loss. Grief is an ongoing process it can be rushed or ignored. It will just come back and bite us in the butt if we do. Loved this book. Keeper.

“If I have to choose between a love and breath, I will take my last breath to say 'I LOVE YOU'."We first met Colt, Nell and Kyle in Falling Into You and they introduced us to the pain of first loves, healing broken shattered hearts and then second chances. The emotions that flowed with it came with a blunt intensity that stopped me in my tracks. It was all-consuming. It was angsty. It was exquisite.Jason and Becca's story in Falling Into Us didn't disappoint me and proved to be exceptional as well. I loved watching Becca and Jason pass through the hormonal stages of a teenager and into the shoes of adults. I loved watching them fall in love deeper and deeper with every second. It should have been a light-hearted read, but I perceived it to be the opposite. There was always this undertone of general angstiness which always kept me emotionally involved in the story. It was expected that I would fall in love with Jasinda Wilder's storytelling in Falling Into You, but Falling Into Us gave me a reason to name her in my list as one of my favourite authors ever.I make lists of everything. But the list of my favourite authors is very short, mostly because I'm picky and fussy. But, with having read no less than two of Ms Wilder's books, I would willingly place her right at the very top of my list of favourite authors. That's how serious I am about loving her books. But that wouldn't be the only list belonging to me that would need changing, though. So would my list of favourite book boyfriends where Jason Dorsey is currently residing in the Top 20.JasonAny man who is willing to be supportive and a source of strength for the woman he loves earns a few points from me.“I’ll support whatever you decide. I’ll help you any way I can. What’s mine is yours, okay? If you need something, I’ll make sure you have it, however I have to get it." Any man who is willing to change for the better, not for the worse, earns a few more."My motivation in life was to be a good enough man for her, worthy of her awesomeness."Any man who is vigilant and sheltering of his girlfriend, but not so much as to be incredibly dominating and possess Neanderthal-like characteristics earns maybe a few hundred points from me at least. (Side Note: You can take this as a sign that I am absolutely sick of jealous, controlling freaks who are portrayed as sexy alpha males. I have read far too many books with love interests like them.)“You’re my woman. Of course I’m responsible for you. It’s my highest duty in life to take care of you, protect you."I found this aspect of Jason's character perhaps the most fascinating. (I'm not really counting Jason's heavenly physical attributes and his dreamy personality here.)Jason had spent his childhood and most of his teenage years being pushed and abused by his perfectionist father, who was supposed to be the one man that Jason could turn to in his times of need. His mother was nothing more than a shell of the vibrant, pretty person she used to be. Summed up in short, it was a very bad home situation.Statistics show that most abusers were once victims of abuse, yet Jason doesn't fit the profile at all. He's nice; he's kind; he's sweet; he's caring. He's aggressive, yes, but he throws all that energy into football and burns it off. His treatment of Becca isn't demeaning and disparaging. Jason found the strength and determination to NOT become his father and instead become someone else worthy of admiration. Need any more good reasons why Jason a wonderful book boyfriend? Read the book.Another list that would require immediate improvisations is my list of favourite heroines (That list is quite short) with Becca somewhere in the middle.BeccaBecca is the "good girl" who assigns three hours to her personal life but devotes the rest of her time to studying. She's the genius with the straight-As to prove it. She's loved by everybody but never, never in the limelight like her best friend, Nell. For Becca, it's a "popularity by association" kind of thing. She's painfully shy and reserved. Becca's family could be part of the reason. Her father is very, very controlling of Becca's life and never lets her have a boyfriend or let her go outside. Her brother, Ben, is severely bipolar, and could always be seen with a smoke in his hand (when his parents are not around, at least) or the familiar air of a drug-user. (view spoiler)[Though somehow, Ben wormed his way into my heart, and when he committed suicide, I was so emotional that I went through the 5 stages of loss and grief. I couldn't believe that just happened.1. Denial: Ben couldn't have done that!! It's just inconceivable!2. Anger: I hate that dickhead Ben, for leaving Kate pregnant. Damn him to Hell and beyond.3. Making Deals Please God, I'll exchange Jason for Ben. No, I didn't say that, I never did. Take that back. I want Jason. Just live for me, Ben.4. Depression: Goddammit, Ben. Why? Just why? You made me cry.5. Acceptance:...Nah, I still haven't reached this stage. I'm not going to accept that Ben's dead!!! But I'll let you guys know when I'm finally ready...which may be in a couple of centuries but patience is a virtue. It'd be nice to have some of that. (hide spoiler)]It isn't as bad as Jason's situation but sometimes it proves to be simply suffocating for Becca. She's also a stutterer. A trait that Becca inherited from her authoritarian father, why by the way is a major a-hole. While stuttering for most people would prove to be a social and educational disadvantage, it only became an obstacle that Becca desired to overcome. And she did, with help from Jason. She became the valedictorian in her high school and graduated with high scores. The thing I loved most about Becca though was her ability to empathize with Jason and understand every inch of him, through and through. She was there for Jason when he needed it, and vice-versa.“Who you are is who you are, because of what you go through. I like who you are. I want to help you. I want you to tell me things. I want you to trust me.”Becca is a great protagonist and so is Jason. So my logic is: Becca + Jason = Epicness. It makes sense and I dare anyone to contest me on this. They are meant to be.["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>

This review is posted on Way Too Hot Books. If you've been hurt theworst by those meant to love the mostif you've sought releasefrom agony through the bliss of pain,if you've been rejected because of a perceived imperfection, then this book is for you.You are loved;you are not alone:you are beautiful.Jasinda Wilder without a doubt writes compelling, deep and heartbreaking stories. Kind of stories that move you and make you think about life, about world and people around you, all the good and bad stuff. The heroes of her books are realistic people who deal with lot of problems of nowadays (domestic violence, abortion, death, drug usage, mental disorders etc.) Because of that, her books are not always easy to read, but that is also, IMO, what makes them so good. This book, just like the first one, was no exception. From the very beginning until the second half of the story, this book was somewhere between 4-5 stars book for me. I even started to think that it's going to be better than the 1st one. I fell in love with Becca's and Jason's characters and their story right away and for me to actually like the main female character of the book is really a true rarity meaning the book must be really good in that case, so why then 3 stars you ask?Well, after the first half of the book, the story kind of lost its spark. My problem was that everything seemed just too perfect- the way the plot started to develop, the characters and their issues etc. and just like that- from unputdownable the book became just the opposite. The main characters had some major problems which they solved in the best possible way in a short amount of time and everything seemed to work out for them which seemed too unrealistic for me. Around 70% in the book the masochist in me was getting a bit bored and started to wondering: what happened to that "heartache you'll never forget" the blurb promised? But then something major happens and we finally get our answer and fair dose of pain, even though for me, that heartache you'll never forget is more suitable for the 1st book than this one, because once again, after some minor issues, the characters overcome even that problem without any bigger drama which seemed again rather unrealistic to me. Another thing that wasn't so appealing is that the story was a bit too romantic and cheesy from time to time, especially towards the end. That's why in my opinion the first book was slightly better than this one.My favorite thing about these book series is that the story is connected with music and poetry. This time it was through Becca's character who likes to write poetry. I liked her free verse poems very much, even though they weren't as good and touching as Colton's. Another great thing is that Colton and Nell make their appearance in this book too and along Becca & Jason finally get some closure. The sex scenes were once again hot, even though, for me, the story would have been better if there was actually less of them. I liked that for a change this time the girl was "the aggressor" in the relationship and not the boy. I always say that the supposed shy and mysterious ones are the kinkiest :D which this story confirms. All in all, the story was good, it wasn't as great as the 1st one, but I liked it and I have no doubts that every other fan of these series will enjoy Becca's & Jason's story too.The only way past the pain is through it.You can't escape it.You can't ignore it.Pain, grief, anger, misery...they don't go away- they just increase and compound and get worse. You have to live through them, acknowledge them. You have to give your pain its due.

Accomplished author Jasinda Wilder, I am once again in awe. Falling Into Uswas magnificent. Jasinda Wilder is one of those uniquely talented authors who fills her novels with relevant, thought-provoking and heart wrenching plot; resulting in captivating reading and a completely riveting story. Every time. One boy, Kyle Calloway, died, far too young. As is always the case, death and grief is experienced differently for each person it meets. Falling Into Us focused on the altered life path of Jason Dorsey, Kyle's best friend, and Becca de Rosa, the beautiful, intelligent and quiet counterpart to bubbly, popular Nell. One of the saddest parts to this story, was being once again confronted with the agonising, self-destructive path Nell traveled, and the impact that had on those who loved her. Jason Dorsey, was one of those characters who grabs your heart from the first chapter and never lets go. He should have been cocky, but he wasn't. Any hint of self-love had been beaten out of him; he wasn't a party boy, not the stereotypical football player who squandered drink and women. No, this boy was broken. This boy was talented. Driven, almost morosely so. Could it be possible that the gorgeous girl, who had somehow hidden her vivacity behind her reserved facade, could be his loudest supporter, his lifelong soulmate? Becca:"I think I wrote poetry because its a way for me to be coherent. Eloquent. I have to work to speak clearly. Every single sentence I speak takes effort not to stutter. Poetry? It's just Effortless." Becca had style. She was clever, passionate and raw. I loved her. Her faithful, gentle heart, was to endure difficult heartaches in Falling Into Us, and given the number of years the story thankfully encompassed, you will watch her grow, mature and thrive. She needed to break free from the oppressive parental shackles that held her captive, in more ways than one. She needed to identify what defined her, and what did not.Showing incredible sensitivity, Wilder walked the reader through some heartbreaking years, touching on difficult topics; adding humor for levity when needed and sweet and sexy lovemaking for sensory delight. I loved the awkwardness between sixteen year old Kyle and Jason. Just perfect. So real. The poems. MAGIC! They expressed so much. So touching, poignant and ingeniously placed. The scene in Circle Bar had me instantly crying. Reading through Kyle's death and Nell's heartache again just ripped me apart. Such is the strength of Jasinda Wilder's writing. Written in first person, present tense with shifting POV, with a fabulous 522 pages in length, the book was so satisfying. I felt that the whole story was told. This was an excellent parallel novel to Falling Into You, and a book I will recommend to many. Grab your tissues, close yourself off from the world, and brace yourself for this impressive and emotional journey, told with thoughtful insight, clever prose and scintillating love scenes.Thank you Jasinda Wilder for the privilege of reading this ARC in exchange for an honest review. No compensation was received for this review.

I recommend this book to everyone who wants to read a book full of sexual content but without a solid story line. I guess I'm not in the mood for a book like this myself. Sorry, but I gave it up at about 70%. Maybe I'll continue it someday.

*spoilers*Holy shit, I'm sorry. Jasinda Wilder is amazing. Nell and Coltons story was incredible. One of my favorites. However, this was easily one of the most boring books I have ever read. I'm scolling through other peoples reviews and see that the overwhelming majority are 5 stars! What did I miss here? I just had no connection to anyone. I felt nothing but eye-rolling irritation and had to do a lot of skimming in order to finish at all. The first 50% is nothing but an overview of their home problems and the build up for these 2 kids to sleep together. Thats it! It's nothing but the 2 of them CONSTANTLY wondering and asking each other if they're "ready". 50% people! By the time they decided they were ready, I couldn't have cared less. The last 50% had slightly more substance but not much. Nothing really happened at all in this book. How is that a 5 star? Was there ever ANY question that Ben was going to kill himself or that she would get pregnant? Don't they ALWAYS get pregnant in these kind of books? And for f$ck sake, my friends and I must have been skipped in the talent pool. NFL first string draft pick? Speech pathology researcher and highest GPA in the state? Record labels and world wide fame? What would Kyle have been had he lived I wonder, an award winning actor? A model? Oh, I know! President of the US! *insert eye roll here* Come on. A little realism please. I just didn't get. That definetly doesn't take away my love for book one, but I decided to read this because I figured it would be a sure win. So disapointed :(

Loved this book. Loved the characters and I want more!! I cried. I laughed. I yelled. I cried again. I laughed. I... well.... I uh... ok then I laughed some more then... you get it. Jasinda Wilder has a way of opening the souls of her characters and letting the reader climb in and be a part of the story. You feel the joy of fresh love and the gut wrenching pain of love lost, the confusion of being the one left, the possibility of a future and the confusion of what if and then you feel the... uh well... you just FEEL everything. You ARE Nell. Her family is your family. Her joy is your joy. Her pain is your pain. In Falling Into You, for a moment, you ARE Nell. Nell is you. You lose yourself in this masterpiece and then when the book is finished, you grieve the loss of your new self. I hear a rumor that Falling Into Us, the FIY sequel, is due Summer of 2013. My heart is beating faster just thinking about it. I cannot recommend this book any more than I already do. If I could give it 100 stars I would.

In Falling into You, we met Nell, Kyle, Colton, Becca, and Jason. The story focuses on the horrific loss of Kyle and the love that develops between Colton and Nell. Falling into Us focuses on Becca (Nell’s best friend) and Jason (Kyle’s best friend). The book begins in high school. Then we follow these two through college and early adulthood. This is a special read my friends! But, if you haven't read the first book, go straight to book 1 and read it now! You cannot enjoy the beauty of this follow up book unless you have read the first book! (They overlap at times)!Becca is a hard working good girl. She does everything her parents ask of her. She studies hard and works to be perfect in everything she does. Despite her beauty, hard work, and good intentions she struggles with insecurities. She has a speech impediment which causes her to stutter when she is nervous or anxious. She has domineering parents who watch her every move. She has a rebel bipolar brother named Ben who gives her comfort. When Jason is stood up by Nell one Friday night, he is encouraged to ask Becca out. Although he fears Becca will feel like second fiddle, he asks her and she accepts. She sneaks out to meet him.Jason is an attractive athlete that is being physically abused by his alcoholic father and being neglected by his withdrawn mother. Jason has always been attracted to Nell and is pleasantly surprised when he ends up with Becca. Becca and Jason have a beautiful courtship. Jason shares his love of photography and his dirty secrets of abuse. Becca bares her soul to Jason through her poetry and lavishes in the comfort of his acceptance of her even with her stutter. Eventually their young love is discovered. Jason doesn’t cower away from Becca’s parents and he is able to break through their rigid rules. They allow Becca to continue to see Jason. We revisit Nell and Kyle and celebrate the joys of high school. We experience the loss of Kyle through Becca and Jason’s POV. We see the pain that Becca feels watching her best friend Nell retreat into darkness. It was a bit of a relief for me to see Nell’s parents trying to help her. (If you read my review from the first book, you will see I commented on this.) It was so nice to see Nell’s story from a different perspective. Becca suffers a great loss. Jason is never leaves her side. Jason is the best book boyfriend ever! I was so moved to tears and smiles when I read his dialogue to Becca. These two are a constant in each other's lives. Even though the pain is so raw at times, their is peace because Jason has Becca and Becca has Jason! Simply amazing! And finally, we get some more of Colton and Nelly (sigh)! It really tied up their story nicely! (Thank you!)Overall, this book is an amazing read. I enjoyed it even more than the first book. To experience the love of a couple as it matures over the years is a beautiful thing. This book will stay with me forever. The pacing has just enough intensity to keep you invested and yet because Jason and Becca are faithful to each other 100 percent (and somehow you know they are going to be) you can relax through each moment and just enjoy! “If I have to choose between a love and breath , I will take my last breath to say I love you.”

I freaking LOVED this story!!So, where do I start? I must say I loved Falling Into You, and I thought, ´well I´m going to read Falling Into Us even though I already know about Becca and Jason, right?´ WRONG!!I need to gather my thoughts here-- Jasinda Wilder writing in the Falling series is just wow.. She explores such hard topics and she makes you feel, like really get the characters and their stories.Falling Into Us has a whole lot of things, and what I liked about it is that we all can identify with the topics in the book. It explores teenagers and adults problems that we maybe have/had at some point in our lives. It also hits family issues, romance, life hardships... and more (i don´t want to spoil but I cried)THE STORY YOU THOUGHT YOU KNEW Yeah this is how I´d describe the book. I was totally shocked with Nell and Colt/Kyle story, I really was but with Becca and Jason I was really amazed.Becca de Rosa, is portrayed different from what I remembered. Yes we get to see the responsible, shy and quiet girl everyone thought she was but we also get to see the ´whys´ for that and we also see the transformation from what everyone saw in her to the real her. She has family problems, not very dark secrets or anything , but definitely not an easy home life. Dealing with demanding parents who expect only perfection from her and with her brother Ben who is a the -town stoner- (I love him).Jason Dorsey a.k.a perfection. C´mon look at that cover and him in all his sexiness. OK I´ll stop spazzing about him.Back to Jason. In Falling into You we know that Jason invites Nell (Becca BFF) out, and this is the thing that triggers Nell and Kyle´s relationship. But we didn´t know what happens after Nell crashed his crush!. After Nell and Jason date fails, Jason invites Becca out with him. At first I thought ´ugh not cool dude´ but the date was perfect and he realises that Becca is a lot more than what he sees about her at school. But well, Jason is not the guy everyone think he is at school either. Unfortunaly Jason´s home life is horrible, having an alcoholic, abusive and demanding father and a mother that avoids human interaction, (I really don´t know other words to describe her)makes his life very difficult but this is also going to make him so strong that you will only love him more.Falling Into Us tells the story about Becca and Jason who struggle with their family, friends, grief, tragedy, love and so much more during their life as teens, young adult and adults. You will laugh, cry and feel warm inside. And oh! I forgot to tell this book is HOT.p.s. I was so busy reading that I forgot to highlight my favorite quotes, damn!!Typos all mine:)
