the monkees go mod Reviews
This is about the third time I've read this book and it's never made much of an impression on me. While it tries very hard to be funny and satirical, it feels like it's been hastily put together and thrown out as product to make money. The "Mike", "Micky", "Davy" and "Peter" in this book aren't necessarily the Monkees and could be any other four random characters an the book would be the same. Published in 1967, "The Monkees Go Mod" is of interest only as an artifact/relic of the 1960s. Beyond that, kind of a waste of time. If you're a die hard Monkees fan like me, you'll probably want to own it anyway.
Clearly just some very silly fan filler. Written by someone who must’ve spent decades on his yearbook committee, crafting the most ridiculous captions.
