The Soul's Mark Series Reviews
Finally, a new take on vampirism. No one sparkles, no one is indestructible, and no one fights a werewolf. And don't get me wrong, I do love my werewolves too, generally more than vampires, but this book has me rethinking that. The concept of a soul mate is also taken to a whole new level in this novel. The author’s writing is also nearly flawless. It flows eloquently from paragraph to paragraph and from page to page. The characters’ speech is realistic, sounding the way that an individual would speak. When it comes to series, consistency is the key. Stoyanoff has nailed that on the head. The beautiful town that she created for her novels never has a face lift, becoming something different from novel to novel or scene to scene. Her descriptions remain as vivid and detailed as ever without becoming redundant or drawn out. There is also a very similar writing style that runs through the series as a whole. Above all, however, I appreciate the fact that Stoyanoff’s novels are consistently well written, with this one being no exception to the rule. Don’t get me wrong, the storyline itself definitely does not stay consistent. There are so many twists and turns in the storyline that you can barely guess where it’s going next. Stoyanoff keeps you perpetually on the edge of your seat. Looking back, you can see how the story and the characters got from point A to point B, but while reading it, you’re along for one very exciting ride. This novel is so unique that you can’t help but want to dive in and keep reading.I love it when you read a novel in a series and the characters continue to grow, especially when the characters are young adults. Every single one of Stoyanoff’s characters do this with abandon. They are all obviously the same person that they were in the beginning but they continue to grow and morph to fit into their ever changing circumstances. The relationships between the characters are not static either. They change in minute and in major ways right along with the characters.Overall, this was a brilliant series. Parts of this story broke my heart, others put it back together, and others yet just plain made me laugh. Stoyanoff ties up all the loose ends and leaves you with a sense of completion at the end of the novel, even if you do wish that there were more to come so that you could stay in Willowberg forever.
Find This and Other Reviews At Craves The Angst.5 Spellbinding, Phenomenal Stars!“The Soul’s Mark” Box Set houses all four book in the series plus the novella and is the perfect Box Set for any Ashley Stoyanoff fan.Included is book one, “The Soul’s Mark: FOUND” where Amelia Caldwell is moving on from a tragic past and travels to Willowberg for a fresh start on the assumption she’s being given a scholarship and housing to a terrific school. Once there, she realizes the her unique and outrageously beautiful housemates are more than they seem and the mark on her body she’s always thought of as a birthmark really has a deeper meaning and significance. Love is also on the horizon as the dreams she’s been having of a mysterious man finally come to light. This first book immediately captures your attention and hurdles you into a world of vampires, magic and suspense. I quickly grew to love the wonderful cast of characters, each with their own voice and dramatics. “Waking Dreams: The Soul’s Mark 1.5” is a novella and takes a deeper look at one of my favorite characters, Eric, who’s past life is revealed in this remarkable addition. Also included is book two, “The Soul’s Mark: HUNTED” where Amelia and Mitchell are trying to find their way through the murky waters of who they are, what they are to each other and work through their differences as they aren’t seeing eye to eye on most things. A lot of strange incidents are happening in the town they live in. People are dying, there’s a newcomer in the mix and Mitch is keeping secrets as Amelia is laying down rules. Things are heating up and war seems to be on the brink. With Vampires, witches, immortals, hunters and soul mates as well as a prophecy to fulfill, what could go wrong? The next novel included is book three, “The Soul’s Mark: BROKEN” which picks right up where book two left off. There’s a lot going on in this book as Amelia and Megan find themselves in trouble and Amelia has to look within herself to find the strength and courage to lead and get through the harrowing journey she’s forced on. Mitch and the rest of the vampires are in the thick of a very bad situation and all seems lost for the vampire nation even as Mitch’s love for Amelia is tested in a big way.Book four, “The Soul’s Mark: CHANGED”, concludes this epic adventure as we see significant changes in all the characters we’ve come to love. With everyone going in separate directions, everyone having their own problems to sort out and that pesky bond spell reeking havoc, Amelia must discover her path in her new life as well as a resolution to the bond issue before its too late for her, Mitchell and everyone else she cares about. This compilation is a fantastic way to immerse yourself in an imaginative world filled with amazing characters, an incredibly fun, thrilling and angsty story and the writing is exceptional! I loved each and every one of these books and now you can get them all with one purchase. How awesome is that?
good read! and I only paid 1.99 for all 4 books.
What an unexpected sense of family I found in this YA paranormal series, very welcoming and comforting. I enjoyed this series so much, I didn't want it to end. The author described the compound so well, I envisioned it clearly in my head. The story is well-written, full of passion, friendship, love, deception... I'll stop here so as not to reveal any spoilers by accident. I greatly enjoyed reading this series.

I think this book is full of a lot of twists and turns.I really love the last book "Changed" it was kinda funny when Mitchell was sick b/c he hasn't been sick in 800 hundred so he's feeling pretty miserable and Amelia is just laughing and being worried at the same time.
