The Battle Lost: Ryder's Birth Reviews
This is a very emotional read. The author has put his heart and soul into writing this poetry. Although it is dark and sad, his love for Ryder shines through in his words.
This has got to be the most compelling poetry I've ever read. The words flows wonderfully, and the story is enthralling. I grew up around those with addictions, so I felt more of an interest in the story.
I really enjoyed this book which delves into the battle of addiction in a different type of way. The poetry is beautiful and the sentiment is honest and brutal at times as the reader is taken on this epic journey. I think the author must be an amazing person to write about a hard subject that so many suffer with first hand. well done!
I could relateI am an alcoholic and my battle with alcohol took over my life. I have been sober now for nine years. The twelve steps and my higher power who I call God are my saving grace. God's infinite unconditional love and mercy are always with me. I loved this book.
