:"The Messiah's Sign" by Amber Schamel is just as exciting as the other in this series. In the " Healer Touch" we read Aaliyah story and how she was cast out of her husband's home and forced into the Leper's colony and in "The Saga Begins" we learn about Tyrus's family escape from Rome and his decision to marry Aaliyah, and in"The Messiah's Sign" we read Tyrus's story and how his decisions accept his wife and son. These stories are short but have such full details that the reader doesn't really realize that the story isn't longer . These stories seem real and not Christian Fiction at all. Amber Scamel knows how to pull her readers into her stories and makes her readers feel the characters heartaches and pains.I waited forever to get the ARC copy and it was well worth the wait, only one thing I dislike, now there is a wait for the third volume "The Master's Calling"Tyrus has been missing his wife and wondering if she could be alive with leprosy for ten years. He is doing the best he can with raising his son on his own and trying to deal with the troubles that beset him upon traveling upon Barabbas The Thief. Meanwhile Tyrus's friend Peter and son Malon begin to follow Jesus of Galilee. The rabbis do not like that and will not tolerate it.But what happens when Tyrus meets Jesus for himself and Jesus knows things about him that no-one knows! Is this Jesus a fake or is he real? What happens when Tyrus founds out the answer to this very question?I was given a ARC copy for my honest review and I am really happy to say this book as well as the others in the series have all received five stars!

Historical novels, particularly Biblical novels, play an important part in life. They can be the ticket to the train that will take a person to the Savior. I hope The Messiah's Sign (the second book in The Days of Messiah series) by Amber Schamel will also serve that purpose!Tyrus is a man haunted by a tragic memory. His little sister had died in a fire. Tyrus had been so close to rescuing her, but the burning house had collapsed on her just before he reached her. Now as a grown man he is besieged by nightmares of that awful night. One night he has a different dream of her. Instead of crying out to him in terror, instead she led him to a place where his wife Aaliyah, crumbled in a corner, sobbed. Tyrus assumes the worst, that this is a sign his wife has been unfaithful to him.His suspicion colors his attitude toward his pretty wife. When he sees one morning that she's developed leprosy, he understands. She's been punished by God for adultery. He kicks her out of the house. She begs to see their little son, but Tyrus refuses.Until Jesus comes on the scene. The tapestry of the first century weaves throughout the novel, and I think you'll like the story.

Amber has written a book that takes you right into Galilee among the Jews who are living by the "law" being lead by the Pharisees and Sadducees. When Jesus shows up on scene they are not happy campers, they threaten to stop doing business with those who choose to follow Him.Tyrus is positive his wife has cheated on him, that's why she got Leprosy, so she's banished to the Leper Colony. After she is banished, Tyrus has no idea if she is dead or alive. He lets his son Malon believe that she is dead. Trying to protect Malon might lead to his own death. Amber creates real characters that you can identify with, you feel like you are right there on the shores of Galilee with Simon and Andrew. I highly recommend it!!

A satisfying and inspiring readThe book evokes a feeling for life in first-century Palestine and presents Jesus' interaction with his contemporaries in an inspiring way. It also provides enough suspense to keep the reader turning the pages. It would be of interest to Christian readers who enjoy biblical fiction.

One of my favorite movies is The Vantage Point where a major event is retold from several perspectives. This second installment in the story of Tyrus and Aaliyah does just that and, at the risk of injecting a spoiler, I must say I have forgiven Tyrus for being a jerk in the first book. The only question I have is when can I read #3?

I could not put The Messiah's Sign down, just as I couldn't the first one! It was so interesting to get Tyrus' side of the story and to understand why he did the things he did. I am seriously loving this series and can't wait to read the next one! Highly recommended!

Another interesting short novel in the series “Days of Messiah.” This story follows the husband’s life after his wife had to move to a leper colony. The husband finally meets Jesus and realizes He is the Messiah and reunites with his cured wife. Now I must read the third book in this series.

The Messiah's Sign, volume two in Days of Messiah, was a quick read focusing on Tyrus. Tyrus life is changing as his nightmares became reality along with suffering abuse and customers refusing to buy his merchandise. Malon, Tyrus son, wants to follow the Messiah with Simon and others, after seeing and hearing the Messiah teach. Will Tyrus be able to find redemption through the Messiah after discovering his wife, Aaliyah, had been healed of leprosy? Amber's story of Biblical history is a fictional tale that had me in the moment. Readers' heart will be renewed to how Jesus had dedicated followers and others who despised and rejected Him while on earth.

Tyrus is a married man now with his own child, but is still haunted by the death of his baby sister. His nightmares are turning into real life.He has to send his wife to a leper colony, and try to rebuild his life without her. He has a six-year-old son and a business to keep running at a profit. It’s not an easy task.I can’t really go into much detail without ruining the plot for you. I will say that you will recognize names, but they won’t tell you what’s going to happen until the end of the story.Ms Schamel has once again left me wanting more.***A special thank you to the author for providing a review copy.***

WowJust loving this series. Seeing the struggles to believe, makes it all so real in our own walks of faith. Love tge interactions with Jesus. Characters are so believable. Looking forward to the next volume. Keep up the great writing.

Good storyI had looked forward to volume two and was not disappointed. It helped to provide closure for the story. Imagine my surprise when I finished the second book and found out that there will be a volume three. I look forward to finding out where it will lead.

The Messiah's SignI enjoy biblical fiction because the bible as literature is fascinating to me. It makes the past come alive and gives an understanding of the characters, who actually lived.
