This was the third book in the Fairytale Shifter series...and in this installment we had our Alpha of the wolf pack, and his mate who was actually a bear shifter instead of a wolf. He saved her when she was only 14 years old, and even though he felt so different around her, it wasn't until she was an adult that he realized she was his mate. Once adult hood guessed it....a ton of sex began! LOLSo, I really have the same thing to say as I did in the other installment...and that there is a TON of sex...and it is very HOT! AND I LOVED IT!! Hee hee. So if you are in the mood for a quick sexy read...this would be the series to do that with! This book took me a few hours to sit and devour, and I have to admit, it was nice to leave the angst alone for awhile.

It was supposed to be adorable? Yes, it was perfect! I rarely read that sort of stuff but I'm completely charmed. My big smile and a desire for more and more just confirms it. This is yet another, the third part of a Fairytale Shifter series. Each of them can be read independently, but the main heroes come from the following parts.Winnie was found in the woods alone, in the form of a bear. The alpha wolf pack Stone took care of her. But when his feelings have become disturbing, gave her into a family from their group. He was not aware that Winnie feels rejected, and the family in which she was supposed to be a happy, never accepted her. That changed when she comes up from age and the heat works. Winnie has always been in love with Stone, but when it became to the mating she could not accept that. This time he will have to really work to get her to be his. It's wonderful. Of course, how you can not drool when the dangerous super-alpha says to his beloved "my little cub"? Not possible. I melts. Your heart will be beat faster also for Winnie. She is so vulnerable and lost that you want for her only happy ending. And I love this big rough guy who is completely helpless when it comes to his woman. I think there is nothing better than this. And when it comes to hot times, the chemistry between the two is an explosion of the senses. Caveman in Stone speaks out loud, but a little bear also can show claws. It is fully untamed and wild. You know what books Alexa Riley writes. It is a little different. And even though it still is a short story and has the hottest scenes ever, in this is more emotion that building the whole story. Not only about fucking. Incredibly romantic and wonderful. It will be probably my favorite series of Alexa Riley, even though I do not often read paranormal romances. It completely stole my heart.***ARC provided by publisher in exchange for an honest review.Follow me on Facebook or Twitter. Thank you!

I enjoyed this story because Stone had to work for it a little more than other AR heroes. He messed up and has to win Winnie's trust. It's a short and sexy read that does OTT just right. The love is obsessive, possessive, absolute. It's sexy as hell. I liked Winnie's personality and complexity. Stone was a man trying to do the right things but not knowing how. Very enjoyable :) 100% safe!

3.5*I've not read the previous two books which is something I'm going to remedy after this.I really enjoyed this book it had more story than a lot of Alexa's books and I do love a good shifter romance.Winnie is a bear shifter and she was discovered in the woods in bear form with no memory of anything except her name, she feels an immediate attraction towards Stone the alpha of the Gray Ridge pack and it's Stones constant presence that allows her to shift back into human form.Stone also feels attracted to Winnie but he's not sure what it is, he's a wolf she's a rare female bear shifter, she's younger than him and so for the sake of everyone he sends her to live with a family within his pack. This is the Cinderella part, the mean and nasty sisters make her life miserable but finally something changes and Stone recognises her as his mate but Winnie has been pushed away by Stone and suffered at the hands of her 'new' family so she's not feeling so forgiving.Stone knows Winnie is it for him if she rejects him there'll never be another so he has to win her round but there's a strange scent in the woods near her house. As always with Alexa's books I wanted more but this is a good read.

2.5 STARSWell to be honest, I was expecting more from the story. I know that many won't agree with my opinion but here you have it anyway. For me, their story was just meh. Sorry. The book started on a bad note for me, since Stone pushes Winnie away from him and makes her live for four years with this horrible family, who doesn't treat her right, like at all! They make it very clear from the start that she is just an outsider that doesn't belong in their pack. Sure, he thinks he's doing the right thing but I don't buy for a second that he couldn't have noticed something over the years. He mentions that he's been keeping taps on her and visited very often her home and can you expect me to believe he never, as an alpha, noticed that something fishy was going on. Common, be serious!I admit, once he finds out that she is his mate, he does try to make up for the wrong he's done but for me it was just a little too late."I fucked up with Gwen and now you. I seem to be doing more damage than good." My heart breaks for him at the confession because what he’s saying is true. It was funny and a bit frustrating to see him say the wrong things all the time. Thankfully we have his POV and we get to find out what he really meant to say. Also, he did redeem himself just a tinny bit at the end, when he confessed his feelings to Winnie. I know it’s fucked up, but I can’t let you leave. I won’t let you leave. I thought for a second I could be a better man and let you pick. It’s selfish, but I don’t care. You’re mine. Mine. Now, Winnie's character I liked. A lot! At first she lets her family (mostly her evil sisters) push her around and does their daily chores but she does have a plan to change her live, if her situation doesn't get better. There is nothing holding her back from leaving the pack, since she doesn't feel accepted. Of course when Stone marks her as his mate, she has to decide whether to stay and forgive him or leave for good. What I loved the most about her is that she really makes him work for her forgiveness. She's a strong and determinated woman who won't obey to man's words just because he says them. Hell no! Also, I was so proud of her when she finally showed her sisters who the real boss is.Get your shit together and worked out. Have some respect for yourselves and for this pack. We are a family, and it’s time you two bitches started acting like it.I haven't read Gwen and Xavier's story yet but I'm pretty sure I'm going to love it! They were so cute and amazing. This story didn't make it into my top books from Riley but just because I didn't like it, doesn't mean that you won't. So, happy reading! :)

2 Little-Cub StarsUnpopular Opinion Time, featuring The Vampire Ninja and her oft mentioned word squicks and issues. So I decided to give Alexa Riley another shot after despising The Virgin Duet venomously BECAUSE she seems like such an awesome lady and her books are constantly free on Kindle and Kindle Unlimited. Incidentally I also have scores of friends here on GoodReads who seem to be in an automatically-grab-whatever-she-writes-without-even-reading-the-blurb relationship with her and I figured I had just stumbled on an outpoint of her writing. And I had, however this wasn’t much better. I jerk against his face, but Stone continues sucking, drinking down every drop of my orgasm.I’m going to set aside how DISGUSTING I think the above is for a moment to concentrate on what is actually being said here, okay?!An orgasm is a sensation! And while oft times it does happen to involve fluids, those fluids are NOT the orgasm itself. One CANNOT drink an orgasm, it’s not possible. And moreover…… yick, even if you could why would you want to, don’t you want your partner to keep that orgasm?? Orgasms are nice, let your mate keep hers you selfish, selfish alpha!!Okay, okay, ridiculousness aside Riley’s writing quite frankly just doesn’t work for me. I know it’s all possessive, over the top alpha shenanigans (which I proved earlier this month is not always an issue for me) but even the smut itself does absolutely nothing for me. I find it extremely juvenile and honey-coated, which sits not at all with me. I also felt no connection whatsoever with any of the characters or the story itself. Winnie and Stone are like cardboard cut-outs of the idea of characters. I know that there is a ‘Cinderella' theme going on here but it’s so vague that I may never have guessed it were it not directly mentioned in the story. *Shrugs*Riley has plenty of fans, it would appear I simply am not one of them. PRE-REVIEWUnlike ALL of my friends on here I have not had good experience with Riley... The Virgin Duet made me feel nauseous not hot and bothered. However, I picked this one up for zero dollars on Kindle Unlimited a long, long, long time ago now, so I think I'm ready to give her another shot. Also, that cover is sexy as fuck!May I touch your beard, sir???

This was just so fucking adorable! Winnie the bear… ok…. no… I’m not gonna do it. * I’ve been waiting for Winnie’s story ever since I met her in Beauty Sleeps and since the beginning of the series I’ve always wondered about the woman who was going to take the aptly named Stone down. I began reading The Lost Slipper with a bit of apprehension. Mostly because Xavi and I made a real connection in Beauty Sleeps – it’s true love and there is no other man out there as good as him (I mean it this time). But fear not, lovelies. If Xavi is ever maimed and killed in a horrible accident involving my thighs locking up while his is face trapped between them, Stone is a hot contender to step in and fill his shoes. (After a brief period of mourning, of course). This book doesn’t follow the usual Alexa Riley formula. Yes, there’s an obsessed alpha and yes, there is a luscious virgin but in this one Stone has to do a bit more work to get Winnie to agree to be his. It made for a wonderfully delicious angsty read.Ms Riley has a special gift when it comes to writing heroes, and this one was no different. Stone was just so fucking cute. His attempts at wooing her were so touching and adorable and thoughtful he had my toes curling in pleasure. Every single time he had to let Winnie go was absolute torture and my heart just bled for him as he felt so lost without her. This whole entire book is like a warm downy blanket of Prozac you could just curl up in and let the warm fuzzies overwhelm you. I want to cut this book to shreds and keep all the bits in a Ziploc bag so when I’m having a bad day I can throw it all on the floor and roll around in it like a kitty jonesing for catnip and just rub myself in the swoony bliss.Funny story… I read this book right before I went out to the local take away to get a burger. As I was waiting for my food, I stood around grinning like a goofball fantasizing about Winnie and Stone and hand-picked wild flowers, the owner clearly thought my moony eyes were directed at him and he gave me fries for free – which made the whole day even better because carbs. So get this book, immerse yourself in all the good feelings and then pay it forward. Get this book for a friend who needs a pick me up, get it for the lady at the local supermarket that needs a reason to smile and share it with the girl at the office who feels down on herself. Spread the joy. This is the ultimate feel-good story and I’m pretty sure the key to world peace. (Anyone know the mailing address for ISIS?) *Ok I lied. Totally doing it: (ARC provided by author in exchange for an honest review)

I'm addicted to this series already. For The Lost Slipper, Stone has had a thing for Winnie for so long but he has not made a move until Winnie's 18 years old. This book gives me a Cinderella vibe. It's dreamy and fluffy, I can't stop smiling all the time because I love how Stone tries to win Winnie's heart despite the fact that she denies him.In the end, I want to know more about Koda. He's a big teddy bear as Winnie describes. So I say a little prayer that let the next book be his.

I think this was my least favorite out of the Fairytale Shifter series. I liked Stone and thought he was pretty hot, but Winnie kind of annoyed me. I understand where she's coming from and why she acted like she did. It just still annoyed me. But thankfully, this being an Alexa Riley book, that angst was not stretched out, and I was still able to enjoy this.My favorite couple is still X and Gwen, though, from book 2. *swoon*There were some steamy scenes, but nothing really stood out as being exceptional here. Still, I was entertained and enjoyed these little shifter stories. I would love to see AR do more paranormal smut! Also, hot guy on cover is hot.

4.5Wolf and Bear starsI’m obsessed with this author!!!!! I totally picked up Kindle Unlimited because I can’t get enough of her. This one just came out yesterday and it’s a standalone. This one is paranormal with a fairytale twist, but of course with plenty of smut to make any romance reader, like myself, very happy.Stone finds Winnie as a cub and takes her home with him. He cares for her and loves her but it’s completely in a non-sexual way. Winnie loves Stone and craves being around him, even if that means sneaking into his room and sleeping in bed with him every night.CUTE RIGHT?!Eventually Stone realizes he cares for her too much and sends her to live with a family that has two sisters that will give Winnie the environment she needs a young adult girl. Except the sisters aren’t nice and Winnie is growing older and more into a woman.I love Stone and yes, he’s alpha, possessive and the whole wolf/bear/human world mate thing is WICKED HOT. Winnie doesn’t go to Stone easily so there’s cute tension to keep you happy.Like all Alexa Riley books, they are fast, easy and hit the right spot. I was completely engrossed with the story from page one and it’s a can-not-put-down-read. I’m a mega fan of paranormal reads and the loosely fairytale theme is adorable.I’m reading the books out of order and I’m very happy to be jumping to the previous book.

Re-read 5/21/16Funny how a few months can change your feelings. Winnie got on my nerves this time. I wanted her to suck it up and fall immediately for Stone. I felt bad for him. He was just trying to to what he thought was right. Who re-read I may dislike them both lol. Can't wait for Kobe's story!Original review January 2016***4.25 Stars!I really enjoyed this novella! While I really like an OTT possessive alpha, I was glad to see Stone had to grovel a bit and we get to see his softer side when he realizes he f'd up and could possibly lose his mate. I didn't blame Winnie one bit for putting Stone to the test! (Xavier is still my favorite though).Winnie finally grew a pair and came out strong. I liked though, that she is a softer alpha female compared to a lot of shifter mate books. But, she could be tough when she needed to be.My only complaint, as usual, is I wish it were longer. I look forward to Kobe's story (hint, hint)....Bring it on Ms. Riley!!

So sweet and Sexy. At first I was heartbroken that poor Winnie had been pushed away for song. Thankfully Alexa is the master at grovel and chasing. Without words Stone groveled by wooing Winnie and proving how much he wanted and loved her. I adored how sweet he was. I definitely will beg now for Koda's story. He sounds yummy. Now gimme my bear. 100% Safe of course.

4.5 starsLove it!! So adorable and sexy. I felt bad that Winnie and Stone suffered for the past few years, but considering her age, I really don't see how that could have been avoided. The only thing I would have liked to see resolved differently is for the nasty twins and their nasty mother to leave the town and never come back. They got off so easy, but I understood why Winnie handled it in the end the way she did -- she was very caring of Stone's feelings. :)Can't wait for Koda's book. This series is definitely my favorite of Riley's. Love the shifters. :D

Title: The Lost SlipperSeries: (Fairytale Shifters, #3) Author: Alexa RileyGenre: Adult Erotic Paranormal Romance NovellaRating: 5-StarsCliffhanger:(view spoiler)[No (hide spoiler)]HEA: (view spoiler)[Yes (hide spoiler)]Review on Blog: HERE♥ (Fairytale Shifters, #1) Riding Red♥ (Fairytale Shifters, #1) Beauty Sleeps♥ (Fairytale Shifters, #3) The Lost Slipper*Each book can be read as a STANDALONE*♠ ♣ ♥ ♦Years ago, Winnie was a lost bear—alone in the woods, she wandered without memory of who or what she was. Scared of the empty void inside her mind while trapped in her bear's body, it was a relief to Winnie when a wolf pack found her stomping through their woods. Strangers or not, they were there for her—helping her, guiding her—through the dark, blank times. Especially the wolf pack's Alpha Stone—who was drawn to the little, lost cub from the moment he laid eyes on her.I need to make my body feel the pain that is eating away at my heart. What is wrong with me? Why can’t I stop this feeling, this need?Although when Stone's feelings of enchantment begin to deepen, become something more tender, more hopeless, towards the underage bear-shifter, Winnie is forced to live with another family. The thought of leaving him steals the breath from my lungs. But with tears in her eyes and her heart on her sleeve, Winnie begs Stone not to let her go, not to make her leave him. But he does, and for years Winnie lives with that crushing feeling of rejection in her soul—all the while her new family fails to love her, instead treating her with hate. So when Winnie unexpectedly becomes of age to mate, it's a shock that Alpha Stone knocks down the door, claiming her as his. A shock…and betrayal, because if Stone didn't want her in the past, what makes her want him in the present?I feel more alone now than when I was running through the woods without any memory of anything. At least then I didn’t have anyone to miss.Winnie wants Stone to love her, but not because he has to. And now that those deep, enchanting feelings of tenderness are no longer hopeless, Stone is determined to bare himself to his little, once-lost cub, proving that he has (and always will) love her with every piece of himself: his mind, heart, body, and soul.Winnie may deny me now, but I’ll never want another. For as long as I live, I will be mated to her. And I wanted everyone to know it.♠ ♣ ♥ ♦As always, Alexa Riley's well-written story pulled me into a world of love and laughs and very hot shifters...not only of The Lost Slipper's Hero and heroine, but with enjoyable peaks into the lives of the previous Fairytale Shifters of Beauty Sleeps and Riding Red.Gwen laughs, and it makes X—who I'd forgotten about—growl softly and sweetly, like he's enjoying the sound of her laughter, and it makes me smile. ♠ ♣ ♥ ♦But it was The Lost Slipper's Hero, Alpha Stone, who was THE best. I really liked the conflicting sides to his personality; both the tough Alpha who demanded dominance, and the soft, caring mate who was willing to submit to the little cub he loved. Stone was smile-worthy—and all the sweet-somethings he whispered into Winnie's ear had that smile shifting into a swoon. And while I did like her, Winnie's negativity at the beginning could be a but off-putting for some—although it didn't necessarily bother me, because I could understand why "negative" was her mindset, after all of those years of mental and physical abuse from her step-family.I couldn’t help but want more. And it wasn’t just me, my bear wanted more, too. It was as if she’d woken from a deep hibernation and she was hungry and wanted to feast on Stone.Though when Winnie's bear decided to show her inner beast—well, it gave me proud, mama-bear shivers. I adored seeing her transformation from sad "Cinderella" to the happy "Princess"... ...just with lots more growls, teeth, and claws in between.  ♠ ♣ ♥ ♦“Stone,” she whispers. I move my lips back across her cheek and to her mouth, barely grazing my lips against hers. It’s not a kiss, but a promise of what’s to come. The Lost Slipper was a bit different than any of the other Fairytale Shifters books—as in, instead of an explosion of erotica, there was a slow burn, a wonderful build-up of sensuality. The story took time to develop, so there was so much more to this book than just rough love and sweet sex...There was tension and conflict, there was groveling and pain, there was hope and love, and in the end, there was a gorgeous, cheeky happily ever after. “More, Stone. Harder.” I’ll never deny my mate what she wants. I grip her thighs as they press against my body. Her feet are dangling behind me, and I hear one of her shoes hit the floor. “Looks like you lost a slipper, Cinderella.”“Cinderella wishes she had it this good.” Winnie smiles…♠ ♣ ♥ ♦Also, I just have to admit: I was so pleasantly surprised at the evolution in this series from book #1 to now, book #3.Because with The Lost Slipper, we, as readers, experience a lot more than the "mating" aspect to the Fairytale Shifters; we learn about their world, the way it works, how the various shifters are alike, yet different—and it's intriguing, this paranormal world Alexa has created.I really do hope the series continues—because I'm looking forward to reading more about the love and life of all the Fairytale Shifters to cum come. ♠ ♣ ♥ ♦ Overall, I would most definitely recommend The Lost Slipper to those erotic paranormal lovers who're looking for a light, romantic, deeply sensual, read—that'll make them loose their thoughts, only to find their hearts in the woods of a fuck-filled fairytale. AS AMAZING AS ALICE'S DREAMS: ♠ ♣ ♥ ♦*PS: I was given an copy of this book. But I do solemnly swear that I am up to...good. ;) This is a fair and honest review of this book, pinky promise.*["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>

Bit of an angsty read. H had known underage h for 4 years and felt attracted (not physically but in a sweet, adoring, he doesn't wanna be away from her side way) but pushed h away and ignored her. Bcos he feels he needs to save all his attention for his future alpha-wolfie mate, whoever she is. When H discovers h is his mate upon her coming of age, suddenly he is all over her. And there is a HEA.I liked the h very much. She was innocent, sweet, but also emotionally strong and pragmatic. However she was right in her thinking that H would have ignored her the rest of his life if not for the mating thing . H didn't give h even a minute of his time and didn't even care to know that her foster family(that H had chosen/placed her into) neglected and abused her - something everyone including H's sister knew. h felt so isolated and alone and disempowered that her bear went very deep into hiding and she couldn't shift anymore. H was a conscientious guy and a good alpha, but he always put the pack first and I didn't get the idea that this had changed - if there was a situation where he had to choose, I'm really not sure he would put the h first. However the h had always innocently hero-worshipped the H and while her concerns were valid, she didn't cut off her nose to spite her face and went along with the mating, after initial hesitation. I understand that you can't deny a shifter-mating, but wished h had ended up with someone else, a guy who put h's happiness first always.3.5 stars.

I always love Alexa Riley books, they have faithful and obsessed heroes who would do anything for their heroine. That being said though, I expected more from this story. Stone is the alpha of the pack, but he was anything but with Winnie. She was basically telling him what to do and he listened. I just wanted for him to finally grab her, have his possessive way with her and she would see reason. He was more Beta than Dom, and I thought he was too sweet!Winnie...while I understand why she was a bit hesitant to believe in this mating, I still didn't like how she was fighting him on this. Half of the book she kept on having distance from him, and it a bit annoyed me. I'm interesting to get story about Koda, he seems like conflicted shifter like Xavier was(who is still my favorite male in the series).Safe read, both virgins.

Stone and WinnieStory based on Cinderella fairytaleThis is a love story between a wolf shifter and a bear shifter. Stone is the Alpha wolf of Gray Ridge. Stone has found and saved little Winnie, when she was a kid. Then, he gave her to a family to look after her but they were not very nice shifters. Anyway, when Winnie finally grows up; Stone realizes what he always suspected: Winnie is his mate. Of course Winnie cannot accept Stone easily since he was keep pushing her away all these years.Another entertaining story from the series.“Looks like you lost a slipper, Cinderella.”“Cinderella wishes she had it this good.”

Winnie, a bear shifter, was found in the woods by the Gray Ridge pack and taken in by the Sheriff when she was younger. He was her saftey blanket but after staying with him and his sister for a little while he sent her away to live with another family. Stone had to get Winnie out of his house all those years ago because she was a distraction he didn't want, especially considering she was under age. But he never stopped watching her and when his wolf gets a whiff of the newly of age Winnie, he realizes that she's his mate. The Lost Slipper is just one more reason why Alexa Riley is my go to author for all my smutty needs. This book was a little different than the rest of the series because we got a little more story with the smexiness, but I liked getting to know the characters. I loved how Winnie made Stone work for her affections and didn't just fall into his arms when they realized they were mates. But we all know the real reason I read this book, and it wasn't for the story. It was for the quick and dirty story that I was looking for and AR delivered.

I wanted to like this. I really wanted to. I cannot say no to retelling and this one seems so good on paper— er, on blurb. But seems like I need a little more than smut. Smut with a side of character's development? Smut with a side of solid plot.Even the retelling was not enough to my taste. A few elements here and there.I didn't get in there with lot of expectations, most of my friends describe Alexa Riley's books as mindless smut, so I knew what I was getting into... Mindless being the keyword. It was my first Alexa Riley's book so let just put this one under the rug and try another at a later time...

3.5 stars. another good one but I felt this fell short for me! idk i guess I expected more because he was the alpha. also I wanted those damn sisters to pay! why didn't Stone find out! ! regardless of all that I loved Stone and Winnie:) love how she made him wait a bit but at the same time I felt it was a little too much. I also understood why he pushed her away. I didn't get mad at it .good, fun,OTT, smutty read! I would love to read about Koda! safety gang safe

4.5 stars!Oh Madonna Mia, this one is by far my favorite of the bunch so far. I loved that it had a little angst, and that Winnie just didn't fall at Stone's feet. And Stone, you hot little tattooed bundle of sweetness..yummy!Bring on Koda please...

2.5 stars.Personally, I thought Stone was a jerk. I wished Winnie had given him a harder time. Picking flowers dos not make up for 4 years of ignoring her. Nor does he ever find out ho bad her foster family is and he should have. It was his responsibility!

4 STARS!!I think I lost my ability to write book review? Lol Kidding. I was so happy because we're finally got Winnie's story. And I'm so stupid to realize Winnie is for "Winnie The Pooh" :)) Smart move! The Lost Slipper based on Cinderella with paranormal touch. But they're not that naive and stupid.Of course, Alpha Stone is the Prince Charming covered with tats and devastatingly hot. Since Stone found her, Winnie couldn't forget him. Unfortunately, Winnie has one sided-love with the Alpha and it leads for met two "step-sisters". Stone justified his action to send Winnie for protection and adapted herself with someone around her age. When Stone came to claimed her, Winnie deadpanned reject him! HAHA!I know Winnie from Beauty Sleep and she's Gwen's best-friend. She has crush with Stone but he ignored it. IMO, Winnie is kind weak and scared even she's a bear shifter. Not wolf. She has amnesia and only remember her name. But I kinda liked her a little when she kicked Stone! YEAH GO GIRL! Stone has to earn forgiveness from Winnie because his action in the past hurt her. However, it was really romantic when they're together. I couldn't believe Stone could made me swoon! :p I really enjoyed The Lost Slipper! It was short and entertaining read.P.s. I'm kinda intrigued with Koda's story ;)

This book was .... Interesting ... I was a little over-analytical thinking hmmm wolf and bear not sure how that's gonna work #mutationsAndShit then I shut down that side of my brain and just took the plunge ! It was a short, easy, steamy read. *This book satisfies my 2016 book challenge •a book based on a fairy tale And hello niiiiiice cover ❤️

I love the cover of this book as much as I love the book itself. I also love how the author introduces a new character at the end of each book that leaves you wanting more. Let's hope Koda gets a book of his own!

ARC provided by author in exchange for an honest reviewCinderella has always been one of my favorite fairytales and I loved this modern erotic paranormal shifter romance twist that Alexa Riley has created in the third installment to Fairytale Shifter Series. In The Lost Slipper, we are reunited once again with Alpha Stone as he finally claims and marks his mate. And his mate is none other than the adopted cub, Winnie as she is brought into the pack of wolves. Winnie has no recollection of where she came from. She was found out in the woods and for the past four years has been living with a wolf shifter community pack. When Stone first laid eyes on Winnie, he felt this connection and draw to her but he kept his distance. He didn't know why he felt this urge to protect and watch over Winnie. But keeping his distance is the last thing he could do when he finally felt the need to mark and mate Winnie. So when Stone finally laid claim on Winnie, he had to prove to Winnie that he isn't going anywhere and that he is all in. All in loving her and making her feel like the princess that she deserves to be treated. So what happens when a new shifter is in town? Will Stone be able to protect Winnie from this possible new threat? And will Winnie be able to stand up to her two stepsisters who always made her feel unwelcome?“The dark tattoos covering his body and his shaved hair make him look nearly menacing. But then my eyes travel to my name over his heart, and I see the true tender man inside. He’s my mate, and my alpha, and he will always protect me.”I can always count on Alexa Riley to deliver hot erotic steamy stories and she did that with her modern twist on a Cinderella classic. The Lost Slipper was a quick erotic romance that will definitely be heating up kindles as readers get lost into this erotic world of shifters. So if you are looking for a fairy tale where passion, love and lots of sex are over the top steamy then I suggest you give this book a try.
