Sweet and light read. The conflict toward the end was slightly underdeveloped, IMO. It came from nowhere, fortunately it was solved without unnecessary drama.AMAZING HERO! Muah 💋💋💋Very likable heroine.Safe!

⭐️ ⭐️ 4.5 Stars ⭐️ ⭐️ * May contain some spoilers *♦️BOOK: #1 in the Pierce Brothers series. Can be read as a standalone. About 320 pages. ♦️HERO: Carter Pierce, 30--Organic farmer. Ex-Army Ranger. He's a sweet and sexy vegetarian with scars from Afghanistan and a love for animals.♦️HEROINE: Summer Lentz, 26--Associate editor for Indulgence magazine. Workaholic Manhattanite.♦️PLOT: Summer travels to Blue Moon Bend, NY to do a weeklong interview and write a piece on Pierce Acres, a family-owned organic farm run by the yummy, bearded Carter Pierce. Summer quickly falls in love with the farm, the town full of well-meaning hippy weirdos, Carter and his family but isn't sure if she can give up her dreams and fast-paced life in the city.♦️REVIEW: Low-angst, light, super sweet, sexy and humorous with lots of likable characters. Loved Carter's relationship with his brothers and all the unique residents of Blue Moon Bend. Would have liked an epilogue with a glimpse into their future and a definitive HEA, but looking forward to reading about Carter's brothers and the town of Blue Moon Bend in future books, as well as catching up with Carter & Summer. ♦️EDITING: very good - minimal errors found♦️POV: dual third person♦️SETTING: a kooky little hippy town in upstate New York♦️STEAMINESS: 3/5 - a few explicit sexy scenes♦️OW / OM ISSUES: None. No OW/OM or pasts mentioned at all. H hasn't had sex in quite awhile, neither has h. ♦️ENDING: A little more HFN than HEA. No Epilogue. No cliffhanger.“Why are they looking at us and whispering? Is it because we’re looking at them and whispering?” “No. They’re plotting,” Carter said, grabbing her foot and easing it into a boot. He shot another glance at the trio. Summer grabbed him by the chin and turned his head to her. His beard tickled her palms. “Is this something you can explain to me without glaring at them?” Carter reached for her other leg and Summer tried to ignore the delicious tingle that shot up from her toes at his touch. “Sorry,” he muttered. “I’ve just never been in their sights before. I heard rumors, but I never thought it would happen to me.” “Carter, you’re starting to scare me.” “Don’t look at them!” he barked. He stuffed her foot into the other boot. “Are they casting some kind of spell on you?” He shook his head. “Worse. They’re matchmaking.”

First sentence:"Summer Lentz hefted her suitcase and laptop into the trunk of hersnappy little rental car." What the hell is a snappy car?!?"Aquintessentialporch swing with faded blue cushions was angled to take in the view of the sweeping expanse of the lawn and pasture. ""His dark-as-midnight hair was shorn ruthlesslyshort on the sides..."Ruthless, huh?•two-stories•dirt-stained •peep-toe•hand-scraped •glib-tongued•dirt-covered •farm-bound•cream-colored •meet-ups•light-filled•cathedral-like•steely-eyed•long-dead•bi-level•organic-hungryAnd ^^that's ^^^ just the first 5%."How many animals do you have on the farm?" She could see him doing an internal headcount. "Fourteen, counting the chickens." "Is that a lot?""No. How many animals do you have in New York?""None." A) Farmers don't internally pause to headcount animals they have to f'ing feed everyday. B) Is that a lot?Boo, really?Bottom LineThis is my second attempt to read a Lucy Score book. I should've known better:/ It's just not a writing style that I can tolerate. I'm bored with what's going on. It's vanilla and dull. I'm distracted by all the writing habits thatIfind annoying. It's getting closed at seven percent. Out of 169 Amazon reviews, 141 gave five stars, 20 gave four stars, seven gave three stars, one gave two stars, and none gave zero stars. Anyway, I can't attest to the plot or characters ... Good, bad or indifferent. I also won't be leaving a rating. But, I did want to leave a review on MY OPINION r/t writing style ~

Contain spoilers! 3.5 stars. Sweet, sexy, cute read! The writing wasn't the best writing, but I really liked the hero. He was such a sweet loving man! The h wasn't bad but in the beginning I felt she was more into her magazine then him. lol At times I felt like it was too slow for me but it got better and they make a sweet couple. Some sexy hot times with really sweet moments. I wish there was an epilogue but it ended with them being strong. I loved hero's brothers but not sure if I want to read their books if they get one. safety gang safeboth hadn't had sex in a long time. no mention of herione past. very little on hero's past. we know he had a few meaningless flings when he got back from the army. That's it. I don't take him as a manwhore. He is super sweet! The only other thing mention is when h and H are about to have sex for the first time ,they start to without a condom and hero mentions he has never been without not even the time when he was 16 and had a girl go to her father's barn and get naked.

This is my 2nd book by Lucy Score. I read her recent release, The Christmas Fix. I loved that one- the writing style, the H & h chemistry, the humor. I just love a RomCom. I kept hearing about Lucy Score on another author's Facebook group. A couple of my friends on FB & also Goodreads raved about this series. (yay Ann).I found a lot of humor in this book. About 3/4 of this book is a lot of fun. There's some serious emotions at the end of the book. Carter is so realistic, but I love how he is with Summer.I noticed that this book was originally released in 2016 under the book series name Pierce Brothers. The Blue Moon book series starts out really fun. The h, Summer comes to Blue Moon Bend in upstate NY.She comes to town to write a magazine article about Carter Pierce and his organic farm. Yes, there's instant sparks. Carter is a little gruff at first. His barriers soon fall to Summer's sunny charms. She's there for a week, but really gets involved with Carter and the towns people. The towns people of Blue Moon are all terrific supporting characters. I was constantly cracking up at their antics. Everyone knows everyone & everyone's business. The town has it's own FB group! Better to gossip with my dear.Carter's 2 younger brothers are equally hunky and even funnier. Beckett is an attorney and the mayor of Blue Moon. The youngest brother, Jackson (Jax) has just returned home after several years in L.A. This is 3rd person POV. This is a quick, fun read. As I previously mentioned, this book was originally released in Jan 2016. There is one scene where Summer is at an event in NYC. A man -an acquaintance- puts his hand on Summer, on an inappropriate place. I really liked how Summer handled this AND how Carter handled it ! I can't believe how timely that scene is. Go Summer ! Go Carter. Nope, no no. Not letting that go.I got this book for free (sale.) The books in this series are KU.4 Mooner STARS !

5 Stars ....... BeautifulI LOVED this story. There is nothing better than when I have a great reading streak and this was the second 5 Star rating for me in the past 2 days!!!!!!I loved both Carter and Summer and theie relationship developed perfectly for me throughout. The secret that she was keeping, I really don't like in my stories and although I wasn't totally sure, I was starting to think it was what it was the more and more as the story went on! Now, with that being said, I hope that I get more from this beautiful couple in the future......with all the bells and whistles, I hope, wink, wink:)The whole family was intriguing and I can't wait to continue with this series for sure:)Great book Author Lucy Score!!!!

Blue Moon Bend. Wow. There are so many things that I loved about this story, but the setting, the little 'hippie' town in upstate New York was a joy to read about. Lucy Score paints an insane picture of love, and community. The people of this little town actually, genuinely care for one another. Of course, the by-product of this is nosiness. It's so fun to read about! All of the encounters that the characters have while visiting the local boot shop, or eating pizza at the local pizza place with the busy-bodies looking over their shoulder. It made me turn page after page into the wee hours of the morning. To me, that is a sign of a great book. Carter. Pierce. He is a strong, nearly silent type. He is a war survivor and has come home to help run his family farm with his mother. He has healed and dealt with his PTSD, but still keeps people at a comfortable distance. Enter, Summer Lentz. She is a breath of fresh air. She grabs his attention and the wooing begins. Summer is at Pierce Acres to do an interview for her magazine. She is there for a whole week. A whole entire week of small-town shenanigans. It is so funny, the things all of the characters get up to. Summer is just as taken with Carter as he is with her. They both are in a time in their lives when they believe something happens for a reason. It is clear, she was brought up to Blue Moon Bend for a very good reason. With the small town antics, the memorable secondary characters, oh Franklin, and the beautiful love between two people, this book has definitely been one of my best of 2016. I can't wait for more from the Pierce brothers and their lady loves.

This is the second book I've read by this author, & I thoroughly enjoyed this as I did with Pretend You're Mine. It's cute with very likable MCs as well as the little town they're in. It's a bit fast paced, but it was a smooth read. Something to read if you want a little pick me up! And the Pierce brothers are hot & hilarious! I'll definitely be reading their stories too.

4.5 starsTime to dive in to this series I've been to get around to for a while now. I love small town stories and Blue Moon Bend has an added that eclectic feel to it. The residents all quirky but the Pierce brothers are something else. This is Chase's story grumpy farmer with rough edges he has his own secrets he doesn't like talking about. Which does not run well with a reporter visiting to write an article about the farm.Summer is so different from the broody farmer, lighter and easygoing. Chase may be quiet but he has a great dynamic with his brothers and a good hard working son. He has a nice side too just not open on things. I really appreciate how I can feel the depth in the relationship growing the intensity. I definitely saw it building along with the matchmaking. They complemented one another and I could definitely feel how they cared. Of course not to say there's no conflict. Summer has dreams in telling relevant and important stories career goals making the distance and other things stop her from fully immersing with Carter. Still it was done well and I honestly loved the brothers and their loyalty to one another despite everything. I'm excited to see Beckett's story. I enjoyed this introduction to Blue Moon for sure. I'm also a new Lucy Score fan loving her writing and stories.

I enjoyed this book for the most part. It wasn't quite what I was expecting, which was good, but I found myself growing a little bored past the halfway point. The start was promising, if not cliche, but somewhere along the way, the spark fizzled out. The writing was very engaging, and the end was sweet. What I liked:1) The dual povs, written in the third person. I liked hearing from both MCs. Carter actually sounded like a guy (until things got sappy). I really do enjoy Lucy Score's writing. This needed another edit, but the mistakes weren't so bad that they disrupted the flow of the story.2) The H. He was so sincere and sweet. As far as an NA romance H goes, Carter was too good to be true. He wasn't a manwhore. He was a war veteran and a honest to goodness, down to earth, treat his lady right, kind of guy. What's not to love?3) The secondary characters are well developed. It didn't feel like they were included in this story with the sole purpose of selling a spin-off book. Although I know that the other brothers are getting their own books, I enjoyed reading about them in this one. 4) Absolutely no cheating or ow/om drama. So great.5) The community described in this book. It was just so sweet, if not a little nosy. What I didn't like:1) No epilogue.2) The h is a runner. Boo! Hiss!3) I would have liked this story even more if the relationship between the MCs had more development. It felt a little rushed to me. Other than that, I like how they got along and were friendly before they got down to business.4) The end just devolved into a huge sapfest. :(

ARC for honest review.I absolutely loved this story! Had me laughing like an idiot, and crying like a baby. Such a sweet romance. All of the characters are brilliant, same applies to the storyline. The town, where can i find a town like that?? It sounds so perfect! I hope all of the characters that appeared in here are in the following books in this series, and that freaking goat! Priceless! I would certainly recommend this story, loved every page of it.

Lucy Score’s delightful writing, charming characters, and witty dialogue won me over in No More Secrets. If you’re looking for twists and turns or more angst than a day in the life of a typical preteen, then this isn’t your kind of book. But if you swoon over opposites attract stories, a very hot ex-Army Ranger turned organic farmer, and a funny, strong-willed New York City magazine journalist intent on sticking her nose in everyone’s business, then grab No More Secrets! Summer Lentz is determined to write a human interest piece about the seriously hot and often mysterious Carter Pierce and his farm that will earn her the senior editor job she’s been killing herself for. The last thing Carter needs or wants is a snoopy NYC journalist barging into his life, following him around for an entire week, and possibly discovering just how damaged he is.What begins as a run of the mill business trip to Pierce Acres farm turns into an eye opening, soul searching, heartwarming experience for Summer that quickly morphs into some of the hottest days and nights she’s ever had. Damn that Carter Pierce! Farmers aren’t supposed to be so sexy! Or complicated. He has her questioning everything she’s been working for. Carter may prefer a solitary life, working his land, and dealing with his demons on his own. But there’s something down-to-earth about Summer that makes him want more … especially with her.I enjoyed the heck out of this book. It’s an easy read with just the right amount of drama, lots of fun, and some perfectly steamy encounters. One of the best things about this story is the small town of Blue Moon Bend in upstate New York. The quirky, blast from the past hippie residents are hilarious and adorable, and their focused pursuit of a Happily Ever After for Carter and Summer provide for lots of entertainment and endearing antics.

Have you ever read a book and wished with all you had that you could live forever in that world? It doesn't happen to me often, but Lucy Score's Blue Moon Bend would be at the very top of that list. The characters seem like they could be your friends. The stores with their cutesy names and the Facebook group and the monthly newspaper? Who wouldn't want to be part of that? Too bad there won't be a Pierce brother for me...Carter Pierce is a little bit damaged. He works hard on his family's land and he works even harder to keep the demons, of his time in the Army, at bay. He loves his brothers and his mom. And he's ok with the status quo. A visit from a city reporter is sure to disrupt that. Summer Lentz is headed to Blue Moon Bend for a story. That's it. She's not headed there for a tall drink of water farmer, who is charming, caring, and sexy as hell. Too bad for her, that's what she's getting. Oh, the story of Carter and Summer and their slow burn to hot as fire romance is lovely. The way the town of Blue Moon pulls together to make it happen is nothing short of amazing. And there is absolutely no way you will be able to just read one book in the series, because the Pierce family, the people of Blue Moon, and most importantly, author Lucy Score, will pull you in for more.

REALLY liked this one! Quirky, charming small town filled with quirky fun characters. The Pierce brothers are keepers and I can't wait to read the other 2 brothers HEA. Love the brotherly bickering and banter between them. Summer, the heroine, was good natured as she settles into the town of Blue Moon and the farm. And I loved Carter/Hero. Just darn happy to have found this author and this series. Definitely bumped me out of a book slump. I'll quickly be moving on to book 2 and the next Pierce brother. ;D

I absolutely loved this book. There were "awww....he is so sweet" moments. There were LOL moments especially with the 3 brothers. There were "damn that is hot" moments. Overall a love story between Carter and Summer, between Carter's family - his mom and 2 brothers, the small town and it's nosy population.Carter - awesome H with a heart of gold. I'm married but if I wasn't I might have to check out farmermatch.com because Carter was perfect. He loved his family unreservedly, was loyal to his friends and community, and he loved Summer with everything he had without being an overwhelming alpha a-hole. I love a good MC novel but sometimes it's nice to read about a less intense (but intense in his own way) guy and this was that. Summer - a h I enjoyed. She was open minded about a small town, smart, and good for Carter. Just as he was good for her.Carter and Summer - together they were amazing. A honest to goodness attraction combined with pride in each other and a love that built slowly but surely. Their acceptance and support of each other was a great part of this love story. Carter and his brothers(Jax, Beckett) - they made me laugh out loud a few times (see couch/pillow). Their unending love for each other (after their father's death, after Carter returned home from Afghanistan, John Pierce Brewery) was a great part of this story. Per LS Beckett's story is next and I can't wait.Overall, I really enjoyed this book. It had it all - love, friendship, laughs, a little angst (but not drawn) and a freaking HEA.

I received a copy of this book from Hot New Books in exchange for a honest review. The book starts off with Summer driving up to meet Carter Pierce for a weeklong stay in order to feature his farm, Pierce Acres, in the magazine, Indulgence, where she works as an associate editor. We know Summer has secrets and we know Carter has some, too. As you read about Summer and Carter you get to know all the crazy and absolutely hilarious residents of Blue Moon Bend. From the very start, the story was extremely engaging. As soon as I met Summer, Carter, Joey, Phoebe, Beckett, Jackson and everyone in town, wanted to know more about them. While this book was absolutely hilarious, it has a great balance with its serious subject matter in the struggles of the main characters, Carter and Summer, the supporting characters along with some of the townspeople. If you are looking for an uproariously funny book with a worthy story behind it and extremely well written characters, put this book on the must read IMMEDIATELY pile!

There is so many things I love about this book. It take me back to the time when I lived in a small town the feel of the place and the life people lead. My dad also had some of his issues so I can see where he is coming from. Do read this it was a great read!Carter Pierce coming to the small town of Blue Moon Bend, wanting to be left alone after returning from Afghanistan with scars, his only goal is recovery. But distractions comes in shape of a silver-blonde hair and lips that beg to be kissed. Summer Lentz is a journalist from the city sent to interview Carter and his family. Get more then she bargain for being out of place in this small town with a designer wardrobe and workaholic lifestyle. She asks too many questions and doesn't take no for an answer, threatening to destroy the peace and balance that Carter has been working toward in his recovery from his pstd. He just want to become whole once more.

Another great story from Lucy Score who has quickly become a favorite author! No More Secrets is a sweet, sexy love story set in a unique, small town in NY. Carter, an ex-Army ranger, runs the Pierce family farm while Summer is a magazine editor who visits to write a story about Carter and his business. Carter and Summer hit it off immediately and have great chemistry from the moment they meet. Their relationship and connection is not only believable but completely relatable. Summer keeps a secret from Carter which causes her to run because she doesn't think there is a future between them. Circumstances eventually lead Summer to realize that the life she is leading isn't the one she truly wants. No More Secrets is a wonderful start to what promises to be a great new series. I can't wait to read about Beckett and Jackson Pierce, Carter's two brothers in future books!

Not a romance reader normally Stayed up too late to read this book, couldn't put it down. I want to move to this little hippie town, it sounds perfect. I don't read romance often, but have been sampling over the past few months.. Needing a break from the heavy science fiction, and I'm glad I discovered this author. Her characters are quirky, well written, great dialogue, and the steamy parts are always super steamy and perfect. I'd have to say these two characters have been my favorite from her books. They were both relatable for me, for different reasons. I am excited and crossing my fingers to find out what happens in future books with the brothers. Can I move onto a tiny organic farm in a small hippie town please? That whole life is pretty much my dream.

Pierce Brothers! Yes Please. I cant wait to read about the next one. This was a great book. Carter is a wounded Soldier coming home to heal and run the family farm. Summer is a writer for a magazine coming to do a story about the family run Organic Farm. Love always finds those who are not looking..You will fall in love with the family, town, towns people. This book is funny, emotional, drama packed and its share of secrets. They have steamy hot chemistry. Carter is loving and loyal to those he loves, hardworking big brother. Summer is a career driven workaholic. I loved this book it is well written with a HEA. Received a ARC in exchange for a honest review.
