Did Adam Have a Belly Button: And Other Questions about the Bible Reviews
Inordinately bad - more like "shotgun proofs" for YEC and many that rehash old arguments without really addressing criticism already addressed at said arguments.
This book is nothing more than a self promotion of the author and his "answers in genesis." He gives no real research. Simply believes every thing you need to know is found in genesis. Nothing but propaganda. Wish I could give it a 0. On his two resource pages, you find that almost half of his resources are his own. Who does that? Who is so stuck on themselves that their information comes from them? That's not resources. That's your stupid opinion.
This is a fun book full of answers to questions commonly asked to Christians about the Bible. There's about one question and answer per a page, and they cover several different topics of conversation. It's good for Christians who want to make sure they know the answers to these questions or curious non-Christians who want to see what the Bibles has to say on these topics.
Very informational and enunciated. The solutions are infallible towards evolution and Darwins belief and dogmatic incorrect ideas. Show's clearly how evolution is bogus and how God did indeed create the immense universe in a time of 6 days, and we surprisingly did NOT explode into ourselves. :) I recommend this book.
This covers some very detailed questions, but the answers don't nearly have the same thoughtfulness. There was too much formatting with CAPS words for emphasis where I feel an author could have been more clever in words than to just shove it in your face. Overall, it just gave a "holier-than-thou" tone that was very off-putting.
Very thoughtful questions, and nothing wrong with the answers, per se. It was just extremely topical, and I think I was looking to delve into the subjects a little deeper. And the CAPS with the WORDS he wanted to EMPHASIZE got tiresome. But I love Ken Ham, heard him speak at conferences.
Books like these from Ken Ham helped me stay sane during college!
I love his stand for the Bible! Lord help our unbelief! Really helps us think about it!!
