Must Love Vampires actually contains two stories, each coming in at about 100 pages. Following identical twins and their encounters with vampire brothers.“Vampnapped”“I’m like a sexual camel. I can live on that one orgasm for another ten years, easy.”That quote makes me giggle. And I think this book could have been a very light-hearted funny book, if it didn’t have such a ridiculous plot. Charlotte Lamoreaux, aka Chuck, works for the Sin City Tattler in Las Vegas. Think National Enquirer. She spends her time hunting down big foot and ghost stories, and is still waiting for her big break – and she think she knows exactly what story will push her into the spotlight. Sebastian Raines, casino owner and not only is he “one of the richest men in Nevada, possibly the entire United States or even the world” but she thinks he is a vampire. Secretly following him, she needs to get into his penthouse to investigate her suspicions. She comes up with this plan: pretend to be her identical twin sister, Chloe who is a showgirl at Sebastian’s casino. Chuck who knows Chloe’s dance routine, dresses up like her and performs her show which allows her to gain backstage pass. But before she can attempt to sneak up to Sebastian’s penthouse, he realizes she is following him. Using his vampire powers (oh no, he really is a vampire!) he makes her sleep and kidnaps her up to his penthouse. From here silliness ensues. He transforms into a cat to keep an eye on her as she awakes and starts searching through his penthouse. Meanwhile, he is very attracted to her. When he finally transforms into a man and she realizes vampires are real she doesn’t even freak out that much. Now, I assume no one else in the world knows vampire exist – but we get no world building in this book so maybe I’m mistaken. I was even more confused when Sebastian admits he doesn’t have any condoms and Chuck says, “I’ve done my homework. Vampires can’t carry blood-borne human diseases or transmit them to others. And pregnancy is a non –issue.” What research did Chuck do? From other tabloid magazines? It doesn’t make any sense. From here they can’t control their attraction and sleeping with each other is the only option. Sebastian had planned on erasing Chuck’s memory so she wouldn’t blab to the Tattler about the existence of vampires but after having sex, he is too sleepy and wore out to worry about it. He has been alive for 400 years, and sex with Chuck is just too much to take? 24 hours later, they are pretty much in love and even imply that one day they will be married. Not cute and funny, more just makes you want to roll your eyes.“Married…With Fangs”Although Vampnapped didn’t do it for me, I carried forward with the second short story involving Chuck’s twin sister Chloe. Taking place during the same time period, while Chuck is out stalking Sebastian, Chloe is racing to the alter with her boyfriend of one month, Aidan (Sebastian's brother). I thought okay, this story might turn out better because they are already in love and ready to get married. But I was wrong. They get married and have pages of sex Pretty hot sex actually, but I digress. Because then we discover Aidan has yet to tell Chloe he is a vampire! Really? You marry her and she has no idea? But during sex he can’t control himself and he bites her and starts drinking her blood. Her reaction is more like – dude, you bit me? And then falls asleep, waking up the next morning to think it was a dream. But Aidan feels like it is time to confess. He admits to her he is a vampire – of course she doesn’t believe him. Although she can see his fangs and his fang marks on her neck. But wait! The secrets aren’t done! Chloe has one of her own – she has a three year old son who is staying at her mom’s house while she raced to the alter. Surprise Aidan! You are a step-daddy. What is wrong with these people? Aidan takes the news well, and wants to go meet his new son immediately! So Chloe takes him. Even though she has an inkling he is a vampire. She has no idea if vampires are dangerous – but she puts her son in his path? At this point my head started hurting. I like lighter, funnier silly romance books sometimes. But I have to at least be able to believe in the character’s actions and motives. These characters and these plots made no sense.Rating: D-

This has to be the sweetest vampire romance I've ever read.Heidi Betts has taken vampire romance to a different level. She's taken out the darkness and death and given us what we really crave in a romance novel- the romance. This is a classic romance novel- the sexy main man (men in this case since this is two stories in one) are everyday guys- who just happen to have fangs, drink blood and have a tendency to get third degree burns if a stray ray of sunlight touches their skin. And it was wonderful. What a refreshing escape from all the darkness and death that usually comes with any paranormal romance or urban fantasy. Someone is always running form someone else, there's a bad guy or guys, power struggles, and death- lots of it.Betts strips away all that and leaves us with the basics. Man + woman + inner doubts and conflicts = standard romance with a fangy bonus. In story one Charlotte (aka Chuck) is a journalist on a case that could make her career. She's out to prove Las Vegas mogul Sebastian Raines is a vampire. To do this she has to get close to him. Thankfully her twin sister Chloe is a showgirl at his casino, one night she takes Chloe's spot- and gets to closer to Sebastian than she ever thought possible.Sebastian is out to prove Chloe, who happens to be involved with his younger brother Aidan, is just a gold digger out for his money. He abducts who he thinks is Chloe to probe her for information. Too bad he finds himself inexplicably attracted to her much to his chagrin considering this is his brother's girl. Or so he thinks when he glamours her. Too bad that goes kinda wrong too. In the second part of the book Chloe is using her night off productively with Aidan. In the light of day though a few things are revealed that make her wonder if she was wise in her choice. But hey she had kept a secret from Aidan too so they were even, right? But how would their secrets affect their life together? In the end did they hit the jackpot or gamble everything away? There's humor (I giggled out loud several times), steaminess, and a few of those heart stopping moments that make us crave romance novels.Heidi Betts hit the jackpot with a sweet romance, that just happens to contain fangs.

LOVE AT FIRST BITENightclub dancer Chloe Lamoureaux just met the man of her dreams: Aidan Raines is charming, considerate, rich, and hot. Of course, he’s a little mysterious about his age. And his favorite drink. And he’s not much for sunlight. But he’s asked her to marry him, and she’s ready to do it. Sure, she has a few secrets too—but they’ll have plenty of time to work things out while they’re living happily ever after. Right? Her identical twin sister, Chuck, isn’t so sure. Maybe reporting for the local Bigfoot-sighting tabloid doesn’t make her an expert, but to Chuck, Aidan and his brother Sebastian look like honest-to-Dracula vampires. Especially Sebastian: beguiling, seductive, and just a hint of dangerous. Maybe she wouldn’t mind him taking a little taste. But with Chloe’s life in the balance, she has to know—do they want hot love or hot blood? Or maybe…a little of both?My Musings:This book is actually two novels in one with interacting characters. The first, Vampnapped, focuses on Charlotte “Chuck” Lamoreaux and Sebastian Raines. The second, Married . . . with Fangs” centers around Chuck’s identical twin sister Chloe and Sebastian’s brother Aidan. I told you they were interwoven.Chuck is the down to earth sister, an investigative reporter for the Sin City Tattler, while her sister is a show girl in a Las Vegas casino. Chuck is determined to write an important expose which will get her a job with a reputable newspaper. Unfortunately, she decides that Sebastian is the perfect subject of her expose because, after all, she believes he is a vampire.Sebastian also happens to be the owner of the casino where Chloe works. Chuck convinces her sister to let her impersonate Chloe so she can follow Sebastian. Sebastian thinks Chloe is a gold digger who is out to trick his brother Aidan into marriage. So he kidnaps Chuck thinking she is Chloe.Confused yet?Meanwhile, Chloe really is a gold digger, but only for the best reasons. She has a three-years-old son and she wants to make sure he has financial security. Chloe and Aidan have been dating for several weeks and the sex is magnificent. They haven’t talked a lot because, hey, the SEX is magnificent!Aidan does want to marry Chloe and while Chuck is being kidnapped, they run off to a Las Vegas wedding chapel and get married. Unfortunately, Aidan neglects to tell Chloe he is a vampire until after the wedding. There is that little matter of him biting her on their wedding night. Of course, she hasn’t told him she’s a mother either.I absolutely loved this book. I knew I was going to before I had read ten pages. The characters are likable and the dialogue is funny. The author can make the most insane situations seem reasonable.Although the books tell separate stories, the last chapter brings them all together again. The ending is satisfying with no loose ends making you wonder if there is going to be a sequel.I have not read any of Heidi Betts’ books before, but I certainly will in the future. I was delighted to find that she has an extensive backlist. I imagine she will be added to my autobuy list and I am very particular about who goes on that list.Again, a wonderful, enjoyable book which I highly recommend to anyone wanting a fun read.FOLLOWUP: After stating that the book does not need a sequel, I found out that the author has written an epilogue titled One Last Bite and is free at places like Amazon, Barnes and Noble and Smashwords. Although it does not really add anything to the story, I enjoyed visiting Chuck and Sebastian and Chloe and Aidan one more time.Actually, if the author was going to write an epilogue, I would have preferred it to address the women’s decision on whether or not to stay human. That is the only area where I felt the reader was left hanging.Either way, it does not matter. Read the sequel. It is just as enjoyable as the book.

When Chuck suspects Sebastian, one of the owners of the club Chloe works for to be a vampire, she switches places with her sister for the night. In addition, a look into her past bared no fruit. But Sebastian was determined to keep his brother from marring a woman he couldn't get info on. *Book source ~ Many thanks to Kensington for providing a review copy in exchange for an honest review. This book contains two short stories, Vampnapped is about Charlotte ‘Chuck’ Lamoureaux and Sebastian Raines and Married…with Fangs is about Chuck’s twin sister Chloe and Sebastian’s brother Aidan. Chuck is a reporter for a questionable tabloid, the Sin City Tattler that has stories about Big Foot, aliens and the like. She’s been following Sebastian around because she thinks he’s a vampire and she wants to prove it. After convincing her sister, a showgirl at Sebastian’s casino, to switch places for the night so she can sneak into his penthouse apartment, her snooping does not go quite as planned.Chloe is more than happy to take the night off so she can spend it with Aidan. They’ve been dating for a month and now Aidan has asked her to marry him. They’re going to use her night off to get married Vegas-style. However, they’ve both been keeping some secrets that could end the marriage before it even gets a running start.Neither of these stories really did it for me. While there were moments of entertainment, neither story had any substance. Chuck’s story was mildly entertaining if you can get past her insistence on being called Chuck (ugh!) and the fact she is a major airhead. Chloe is a gold digger who would rather be out partying and trolling for a rich baby daddy than spend time with her son. Aidan comes across as shallow and interested in only burning up the sheets. Sebastian was the most interesting character. If you like fluff with vampires then this might entertain you, but I found it lacking.

Review from busymomsbookreviews.comMust love Vampires is about Charlotte (Chuck) and Sebastian, with their siblings playing minor roles. Sebastian thinks that Chucks twin sister Chloe is only after his brother Aidans money so he decides to kidnap her and try to find out what is going on. Chuck is a reporter for some rag magazine and she believes that Sebastian is a vampire so she takes her sisters place in the dance show to prove it. Sebastian ends up kidnapping Chuck instead. Sebastian is cute but to perfect, no guy would undress a hot girl and not look. Chuck is annoying and selfish. I am sorry but going thousands of dollars worth of rare wine to try and find blood is ridiculous and disrespectful. I just couldn't really get into this book because I didn't really like the main characters. I don't even want to get started on the whole Chloe Aiden love affair. The only thing I did like about the book was the sex scene.

Must Love Vampires by Heidi Betts* I received a copy of this book from Kensington in exchange for an honest review*VampnappedCharlotte (Chuck) offered to stand in her for her sister so Chloe and her boyfriend could get married. Chuck had an ulterior motive for agreeing to be a showgirl for the night; she needed to gain access to the casino areas that was restricted to employee only. Chuck is a reporter for Tattler and she is after a story that will propel her to the top.Sebastian is the owner of Inferno, the most popular casino in Las Vegas. He is intrigued by the showgirl that has been following him, she has been dating his brother Aiden. He is determined to keep Aiden from making a mistake so he kidnaps her after her final performance of the night. Little did he know that he would be too late?Chuck is the complete opposite of her showgirl sister. She is sexy and smart but she keeps to herself. She writes for a tabloid, chasing supernatural stories or just making them up if needed. She spends her spare time with her family and nephew or alone. She is lonely but she didn’t realize how lonely until she met Sebastian.Sebastian may be one of the richest men in Vegas and super HOT but there is something missing in his life. He is used to being alone, using women for arm candy and then sending them on their way. He’s never had a desire to share his secret with any female, until Chuck came along. There’s something about her that calls to him. Chuck and Sebastian are good for each other; they both fill a need within each other that neither knew was there.Married…….With FangsChloe is excited to have the night off with her boyfriend Aiden. She left her sister in her place at Lust while she and Aiden visited one of the many chapels in Vegas, complete with an Elvis preacher. She is a single mother that is looking for financial security for her young son.Aiden is in love with Chloe and is excited to be married to her. He feels guilty for hiding his true nature from Chloe and plans to ease her into it until he bites her in a moment of passion. Alone in his underground apartment he places his fate in her hands.Chloe can’t believe he bit her. She is upset at him for keeping a secret from her but she’s no better. Aiden is willing to do whatever it takes to prove to her that he is telling the truth. He isn’t upset with her about Jake, he’s ecstatic, he’s been longing for a family of his own. It’s within his grasp, if he can convince Chloe to give them a chance.Chloe loves being a dancer but she loves being a mom even more. She is concerned that she won’t be able to care for her son if she can’t dance so she’s looking for financial security. She enjoys Aiden’s company and the sex is great, plus his brother is one of the richest men in Vegas. Aiden may not be as rich as his brother but he’s done all right on his own. He owns an apartment building that he had built from below ground up, literally. It’s his own retreat that is just his and he can’t wait to share it with Chloe and her son Jake. These two are great together and the sex is super hot. I loved the scene where he bit her for the first time. It was too funny. The scene in Jake’s room was also great.Overall I enjoyed this book. My favorite line in the book was when Charlotte was talking about her research and she mentioned JR Ward’s Black Dagger Brotherhood. It’s one of my all time favorite series. There is so much to love about this book though. It has scorching hot sex scenes with humor mixed in. I loved when Charlotte was searching for Sebastian’s “blood” supply and opened all of his expensive bottles of wine to make sure they were truly wine. I give Must Love Vampires 4 Flaming Hearts.

Review Courtesy of Dark Faerie TalesQuick & Dirty: A satisfying blend of adventure and romance. This sexy tale delivers clever dialogue, passion and sexy vampire brothers. The Review:Viva Las Vegas! Today for your reading pleasure we have two quirky novellas featuring two sets of siblings. Our tasty brothers, Sebastian and Aidan, are centuries old vampires, of the mostly traditional variety. Our boys are night dwelling, blood sucking, filthy rich characters, but with no aversion to garlic, take a good photo and have hardly a kill in recent years. Our lovely sisters are a pair of gorgeous identical twins, one a nightclub showgirl and the other an intrepid tabloid writer. All of them carry a secret, and all are in for a surprise.“Vampnapped”This first story features a love match between Sebastian Raines and Charlotte “Chuck” Lamoreaux. Chuck is a writer for the Tattler, a sensation tabloid featuring the likes of Big Foot and Bat Boy, when she spies her chance for the big time. What better way to make a star of yourself than a breaking story of a real life vampire running one of Vegas’ top casinos. But her investigating turns up zilch and she must go undercover in an attempt to gain inside access. So she plans to switch places with her twin, one of the showgirls for the casino, and use her identity to gain entrance to the owner’s private domain. But, as she exits the stage, she is met by a handsome stranger and taken off to his place.Sebastian has noticed a person bearing a remarkable resemblance to his younger brother’s girlfriend following him around as of late. So in an effort to find out what exactly she is up to, he meets her after a performance and takes her to his private quarters for a little heart to heart. When it is finally revealed that Chuck is not her twin Chloe, and that she is on to his big secret, Sebastian finds he is already half in lust/love with this woman. It’s the perfect opportunity for a bit of companionship, and a lot of fun between the sheets. Besides, he can just erase her memories after he’s through, right? As time goes on, the span of a whole day mind you, the couple realizes that maybe their mutual feelings could form a relationship that will last, and that maybe a change should be made to their original plans.Rating: 5/5“Married With Fangs”While those two lovebirds were finding each other, their siblings were off getting married…in true Vegas style, fake Elvis and all.Chloe has been a showgirl for the past decade and has decided the time has come to move on to bigger and better things. What better way to do that than marry a filthy rich business man like Aidan Raines. That he’s also unbelievably HOT is an added bonus.Aidan hasn’t met a girl like Chloe in many, many years. When you’ve lived as long as he has, you know when something like that feels so right it has to be right. But will Chloe accept him as he is?Only a few hours into their honeymoon, you find these two in some rather uncomfortable circumstances. Aidan has admitted to Chloe his true nature, but she doesn’t believe in the supernatural. So he is left with the burden of proof as it were. But what he doesn’t know, and soon finds out, is that Chloe is a single mother of a three year old named Jake. Oh, and she originally only wanted him for his money. But all is forgiven as they realize that outside of all their secrets, they really do have honest love for each other.Rating: 5/5FTC Advisory: Kensington Books provided me with a copy of Must Love Vampires. No goody bags, sponsorships, “material connections,” or bribes were exchanged for my review.

1.5Favorite Lines: "First date--kiss on the cheek. Second date kiss on the lips. Third date--full French and over-the-shirt action. Fifth date, hot, sweaty, monkey sex, if both parties were willing. Was it the eighth date when he was safe to say, "Hey, hon, I forgot to mention that I'm a vampire. I drink blood, can't go out in the sun, and when we sixty-nine, it's all I can do to not bite you in the femoral artery."" (p. 132, ARC)Must Love Vampires is a paranormal romance written by Heidi Betts. The book contains two short stories about a set of twins. One is about Chuck, the other is about Chloe. I requested this ARC from the publisher and feel absolutely horrible that I didn't enjoy it.First of all, after reading the blurb on the back cover it is immediately apparent that you will need to suspend belief when you pick up the book. Duh, bigfoot sightings... I'm good with that. But I almost feel insulted by the book.Must Love Vampires is over the top cheesy. It felt like a vampire romance parody written by someone who had never read a paranormal romance novel. Why? Because all the smart ass comments people have ever made to me about being a romance reader slapped me in the face as I read Must Love Vampires. From the over the top purple prose to the instant love, the book is full of things that non-romance readers assume every romance book contains.Let me give you a few examples of the words and usage I'm talking about. Chuck wiggled her hips and jiggled her bazooms, feeling for all the world like a marlin on the business end of some deep-sea fisherman's hook while the two of them struggled to get her into Chloe's skimpy costume..."Nobody will catch on," she insisted, sucking in a breath and praying the twins--the other twins--would stay put long enough for her to get through the night. And Inside her chest, Chuck's heart was ka-thump-ka-thump-ka-thumping to beat the band. Holy hell on a hamburger bun.And And she was no wilting lily in this ballgame. Her arms and legs were wrapped around him like a squid's, and she was kissing him back. Trying to suck out his molars, to be honest--if he had any molars to suck out.And The same could be said for his dick. Baseball bats, marble pillars, and railroad spikes all came to mind.Don't let me discourage you from reading the book though. I think if you go into it with the right mindset you might be able to laugh your way through it. There were moments that are so completely out of this world that I had to bust a smile. And the scene which involved Chuck, thoughts of virginity and a bathroom, cracked me up.If I hadn't requested Must Love Vampiress I would not have finished it. I'm sure there's an audience for the book somewhere. I am not that audience. I'm interested in knowing what others think about it. Did you like or dislike it? Please post your thoughts.Scooper Speaks

Must Love VampiresBy Heidi BettsCopyright October 2011Publisher BravaLove At First Bite Nightclub dancer Chloe Lamoureaux just met the man of her dreams: Aidan Raines is charming, considerate, rich, and hot. But with Chloe’s life in the balance, she has to know—do they want hot love or hot blood? Or maybe...a little of both?I will freely admit to being a Paranormal Romance lover. Love at First Bite is a look into the life of twin sisters plans for their lives are very different. First you have Chloe, who is a Showgirl, and to all appearances a first class gold digger. She’s got her secrets just like everyone does, and is out to make her life easier and financially secure. The other twin is Chuck (Charlotte) a reporter for one of those Supermarket Papers where she specialized in bending the story line a bit to sell papers. She’s on the trail of a story and needed to switch places with her sister to make it work. Chloe was more than happy to do it since it gave her a night out with her very rich boyfriend. Now if you’re wondering how Chuck can take her sister’s place, that’s easy. Both of them are accomplished dancers, having studied since they were small girls. Their mother was a showgirl before them. If this is getting confusing, don’t worry about it. Just read the book and it will all be made crystal clear. I loved the way the plotting of the story is done from each sister’s point of view. I also love the way the Boyfriend and HIS brother are two totally different personalities also. Heidi has written a “can’t put it down till I’m done story” and I think it’s a real hit.Heidi Betts is a multi published author with well over 30 books in print, both in English and Foreign editions. Must Love Vampires by Heidi BettsParanormal Anthology –Sept. 27th, 20114 starsMust Love Vampires is an anthology about two twin sisters who are total opposites but find love with two vampire brothers!VampnappedCharlotte AKA Chuck is a reporter for the Sin City Tattler and feels she is on a lead that will catapult her career. She has a strong hunch that Sebastian Raines, a wealthy Casino owner, is really a vampire. She persuades her sister a showgirl at the Casino to switch places with her so that she can spy on him. But little does he know that is already aware of her.Sebastian is used to looking out for his younger brother Adrian. And Adrian’s newest obsession with the showgirl Chloe has him on guard, especially since he has noticed her spying on him! Determined to find out exactly what this ‘Chloe’ is up to, he is startled when she literally stumbles into him! Sebastian uses his vampire skills to put her to sleep and carry her away to his place where he can spy on her. Only to discover she is Chloe’s twin and is really trying to ‘out’ him as a vampire!Married With Fangs…Chloe is a showgirl with a young son. Her latest boyfriend Aidan is handsome and wealthy. The perfect catch. She isn’t in love but Aidan attracts her and his money will provide security. When they have a whirlwind wedding, they are both startled to discover each other’s secrets: Chloe never told Aidan she had a son and Adrian didn’t reveal until their wedding night that he has fangs…. Will their new marriage survive their lies? Both these stories are quick and steamy reads. Each of these stories are improbable especially the first with Charlotte, but these are light books and the author makes you want to join the light, fun. Charlotte seems to blunder a bit as she investigates Sebastian but it only seems to make the story funnier and more farcical. Charlotte’s love life was very limited and I enjoyed how Sebastian introduced her to the pleasures of sex!Chloe’s exuberance for life captivates the vampire Aidan. I found it funny when the day after the wedding, she can’t find any food at his place and she is starving. And Aidan discovers just what it means to have Chloe in his life, especially her extra ‘luggage.’ I thought their story was more interesting because each characters has issues, and they must open up and resolve them if they want to truly stay together.Humorous, light and a bit implausible but altogether a delightfully fun and sexy paranormal anthology!Reviewed by Steph from the Bookaholics Romance Book Club

Must Love Vampires, by Heidi BettsSo I haven’t had a lot of down time lately to finish my book reviews and of course their stacking up, which isn't completely unusual, but I finally got around to finishing Must Love Vampires, which was on the top of my list, and I gotta say, as far as a fast paced read, it’s pretty good.I typically like books that take longer to finish, as I like the extreme details, and complicated plots, but I knew I wasn't going to have a whole lot of time to finish this one, so I chose Must Love Vampire, because it has two short stories in it.One, Vampnapped is about a woman whose bored making up stories for a conspiracy newspaper, and decides to delve into one she thinks will be more truthful, based on her sister’s boss, whom she believes to be a night-walking, blood-sucking, vampire. What she finds is a more truth and honesty than she bargained for, as well as a whole lot more she could have never expected.Of course, being that this is a paranormal romance, we all suspect her assumptions to be true, which is a little why I don’t usually get into these types of books, as I've mentioned before in earlier reviews. They are usually a little short on detail as they've got a limited amount of space, and the plot is slightly rushed, again, because of a limited amount of space. HOWEVER, this was a nice quick, fun read, very juicy at some points, and conclusive as well. I would like to see this expanded into a full length novel, both books as maybe a series instead of packed into one title, but none the less I enjoyed the read. The second story is called Married with Fangs, and it’s about said sister, who works in a casino as a dancer, who’s had the fortune of finding herself in a whirl wind relationship with the wealthy brother of her boss. Thinking to finally find her son a father, and a husband for herself, so that she may retire from her hip-thrusting, high-kicking routine, she’s agreed to her sister’s outrageous schemes, and decides to marry the man of her dreams on the sly, in a little chapel, unbeknownst to both their families. As I mentioned, I could have done with a little more plot, maybe a little intrigue or mystery, but overall, I enjoyed the story, and it had me smiling, and even laughing in several places.I loved the ending, as it included both stories intertwining, with a lot more detail. Much more like the full length novel I’m used to. Definitely going on the keeper shelf, so be sure and check it out. It’s everything you want and expect in a vampire story.

Chloe and Charlotte aka Chuck are twin sisters, identical actually. So it was not too much of a stretch for Chuck to pretend to be Chloe so she can sneak into the casino as a show girl in order to gain access to more restricted areas. Chuck just knew the exclusive owner Sebastian Raines was in fact a real life vampire and she was determined to prove it so she could write her story for the local tabloid magazine she worked for . Only when she finally met Sebastian her story was the furthest thing one her mind, breaking her ten year celibacy was. Sebastian was normally the cool, calm rational brother but he now finds himself in a situation with a woman who for the first time in centuries is making him throw caution to the wind and tell her everything for no other reason but just to be able to engage in conversation with her. But it seems the more he's in her presents the less he wants to talk the more he wants her under him. Chloe knew this had to work perfectly tonight. Her sister wanting to work her shift was in her favor because tonight Aidan and her were going to tie the knot. She was soo tired of dancing she just wanted to stay home with her little boy and the money Aidan has would help her do that. Oh sure she cared about him but she wasn't sure it was love yet, but that would come right. But the biggest issue was what Aidan will say once he finds out she has a kid, she knew she should have told him but fear that he wouldn't want her stopped her every time. Now hopefully not only will he forgive her but except her son too. Aidan was infatuated with this woman more than any woman in a long time. He knew he was rushing it by running off to get married, but something in his head since the moment he met her said comment. He wasn't sure it was love but it was heading there fast. The only worry he has is that once he makes her is bride she will still want him after he explains the little tid bit about him being a vampire, oh sure he should have told her before but he just couldn't bear to lose her if she didn't except him. But he now knows he'd not only be unable to bear it but his heart would be shattered if she left now . This was a very quick easy read nothing to intense. Two good seductions with equally good bedroom scenes. A quick nonsense story, sure to entertain you. I am very interested in reading more of her work. **Athenna**

The book Must Love Vampires by Heidi Betts includes a pair of stories featuring twins. In Vampnapped, Charlotte “Chuck” Lamoreaux has been following rich casino owner Sebastian Raines around. She knows he is a vampire and is trying to prove it. She is a news reporter who usually has to make up stories for the Tattler news. This time she has the real deal; she just has to prove it. Sebastian is determined to prove his brother’s fiancé Chloe is a gold digger and been following him for weeks. He takes her after one of her performances, and holds her hostage in his apartment. Only he doesn’t get Chloe—he gets her twin Chuck. Then the real fun begins with the chemistry and fire they both have to fight. I adored Vampnapped. It had the right balance of romance and funny moments that kept me really reading this and wanting more. I like that Chuck is not perfect and Sebastian has his moments too of imperfection. I like heroes and heroines that make me smile and fall in love and these two did from page one.In Married With Fangs, Chloe has married her fiancé Aiden. She is hoping for a happily ever after but what she gets is secrets and more surprises than she ever knew was coming. Aiden loves Chloe but once she figures out who and what she has married, will she still feel the same towards him? This story picks up where Chuck’s story leaves off. I enjoyed it a lot because these twins are just such very strong and funny women—put them in a story together and they leap off the page. I really liked that. Aiden is a strong character I could stand behind as well. I really thought this was a great second story and want much more in the future.Overall, Must Love Vampires is a must read for any paranormal lover. This one is going on my keeper shelf and going to be read very often when I want hot sexy love and humor together. Heidi Betts has just become a must-read author for me.

Must Love Vampires was the perfect name for this book because you could not help but fall in love with Sebastian and Aidan Raines. These two HOT brothers make Vampires a must have. Heidi wrote a VERY HOT!!!! book that I had trouble putting down.Chloe and Charlotte a.k.a. Chuck Monroe are identical twin sisters. Though they share looks and a career surname of Lamorreaux their career paths have taken a completely different turn. Chloe is a Las Vegas Showgirl for the casino Inferno and Chuck is a reporter for the Sin City Tattler.Sebastian and Aidan Raines are the hottest Vampire brothers to ever settle down in Sin City. Sebastian is the no non-sense brother who owns and operates the casino Inferno while Aidan is carefree and still trying to find his niche in life. This book is broken up into two stories that start off relatively the same (as in starting point not the same words....lol) and then come together near the end. First half follows Chuck on her quest to find out if Sebastian is an honest to goodness Vampire. While the second half follows Chloe and Aidan on their way to eloping. What follows is a great fast past very HOT story. I can't say anything more without spoiling the story for everyone.I love how Heidi crafted both sides of the book. I love how the perfect couple actually had some secrets while the other pair where liberated from their normal selves. She takes all the dark elements we all love about Vampires and makes it all so alluring. On a scale from 1-10 I give Must Love Vampires a 10. I thought it was super hot and sexy with everything I could want in a fast pace Vampire romance. If you are looking for hot Vampires/hot twins, unexpected love, secrets, and just a good read then you need to pick up this book. I encourage everyone adult 18+ to pick up a copy of Must Love Vampires and find out if the house truly always wins.

2 for the price of 1....Charlotte (call me Chuck) Monroe has gone on the hunt for a sensational story for the tabloid she works for: the most sought after billionaire casino owner in Las Vegas is a vampire. At least that's the story she intends to write. But to do that she needs just a little personal information on the elusive man. It's fortunate for her that her identical twin sister dances as a showgirl in one of his shows...so Chuck becomes Chloe for 1 night....a night that Chloe needs to herself so she can run off and marry millionaire playboy Aiden Raines...the younger brother of Sebastion Raines...Chuck's quarry. Unfortunately for "Chuck" her guesstimate is correct...Sebastian IS a vampire! And Sebastian, in an attempt to thwart his brothers matrimonial plans "Vampnaps" Chuck/Chloe....let the fur fly! Sebastian is fascinated by Chucks hysterically odd behavior and feels it might be best to just keep her for himself. Meanwhile Chloe and Aiden tie the knot and spend a very active evening consummating their wedding night...but oops...Aiden being a vampire too takes a nip before he can confess all to Chloe about his nighttime activities. And Chloe has a secret too! One that will make or break their married bliss...Oh what a tangled web we weave when first we practice to deceive! I found this book by chance while looking for something to tide me over till my book order arrives and I LOVED it!!! This is one funny ride...from start to finish! Try it...you'll like it!

See My Review At:http://www.nocturnereads.com/Must-Lov...Must Love Vampires is a book containing two connected novellas, Vampnapped and Married…With Fangs. We follow twins Chuck and Chloe, each in their own situations that are happening at the same time. Warning: Sexual scenes may be considered Erotic. We are first introduced to both Chloe and Chuck, in Chuck’s perspective, and continue to follow Chuck through her dealings with Sebastian. Chuck and Sebastian’s characters fit together well. I loved the chemistry, tone, flow, and dialog between the characters. In Married…With Fangs, we go back to the introductory scene with Chloe and Chuck, but in Chloe’s perspective, and then follow her through her dealings with Aidan. These characters jump into a quickie marriage without knowing each other at all and then reveal all their secrets on their wedding night and the next day.In the end, the Twins are reunited and discover they have fallen in love with vampire brothers. I loved the story! The vampirism details were good; the dialog and language terminology is current, fun, and relatable. I found it hard to fully connect with Chuck and especially Chloe because of their internal rambling dialog. There were a few paragraphs I just skimmed and skipped because the thoughts were mundane and unimportant to the story. The back cover blurb should have been written better and doesn’t follow a few of the details that are actually in the book.Overall a good read, that is a bit boring in places, but I wouldn’t be afraid to read it again.

Great book. First by this author. Will definately read more. Great book about 2 twin sisters. Love that split in to each sisters version. First is Chuck. She is an investigative reporter for a tabloid newspaper. She thinks that the owner of the casino that her sister works at is a vampire. She thinks that he has similar traits and does vampire like things. She wants to take her sisters place as a showgirl dancer and then sneak into his home. She meets the sexy Sebastian. Gorgeous and sexy business-casino owner Sebastian is watching who he thinks is Chloe. He is worried that his brother Aidan is making a mistake by being with a woman for short a short time and being so involved with her. They are both in for an exciting evening when they find out about who and what they really are.The 2nd story is about Chloe and Aidan. They are crazy in love with each other and decide to go off and get married. Chloe is a showgirl at Aidan's brothers club. She does not want to be a showgirl anymore and figures marrying a rich guy is the perfect choice to make. But Chloe has a secret and needs to tell Aidan. Aidan cares for Chloe but has a secret of his own. He is worried about telling Chloe, because he does not want to freak her out. This is a great story about learning that all secrets are not bad, and to just come clean. Loved this story. Loved how it was split up with each girl telling her story. Definate must read and will be a must recommend book also.

"Must Love Vampires", by Heidi Betts, is wicked, wild, wanton, and wonderfully wacky! It's a fabulous fun feast for lovers of hunky vampires with irresistible charm. Sebastian and Aidan Raines are two tall, dark and delicious brothers who live the undead life in Las Vegas. That's right--Vegas. The perfect city for two vampire entrepreneurs to take advantage of nightlife extraordinaire! Sebastian is the brother in charge, and Aidan is the brother who lives large. Neither of them expects to be captivated and captured by a gorgeous woman who has inherited the looks and legs of her showgirl mother. However, that's exactly what happens to each brother when they meet identical twin beauties Charlotte "aka Chuck" and Chloe Lamoreaux. Chloe is a dancer at a club owned by Sebastian, and Chuck is a writer for a tattle-sheet tabloid. One fateful night, Chuck impersonates Chloe in the chorus line as part of an undercover report investigation of the successful, secretive, and oh-so-sexy Sebastian. While Chuck is shaking her booty on stage, Chloe elopes with Aidan, whom she has been dating for only a short time. Mistaken identities, scorching erotic romps, hilarious chaos and poignant secrets are all a part of this marvelous mix of mayhem and paranormal passion! Prepare to alternate between laughing out loud and furiously fanning yourself as those two lucky lady twins discover the delight of the bite! Review Copy Gratis Author

I got “Must Love Vampires” from Heidi for review. This book is divided into two short stories. "Vampnapped" is Charlotte’s, aka Chuck, and Sebastian’s story. "Married..With Fangs" is Chloe’s, Chuck’s twin sister, and Aidan’s, Sebastian’s brother, story. Heidi has given her character’s witty and hilarious personalities. The way she describes things will have readers laughing out loud. I liked Chloe and Aidan’s story best. It seemed more heartfelt with conflict and family relations. I felt Chuck and Sebastian’s story was too instantaneous and they never leave his home to involve outside factors. I personally don’t care for short stories. There’s never enough time for me to become invested in the characters and I’m often left wondering. Because these are short stories I didn’t get a real ‘vampire’ sense about Sebastian and Aidan. Other than the blood drinking and sun avoidance I felt they were too normal for vampires. Sebastian does have a very cute ability which I liked but it wasn’t enough. When I read a vampire romance I like some added history and cultural conflicts which I didn’t get from this book. If you enjoy short stories with quick and humorous romances then I’m sure you’ll love it. I give “Must Love vampires” 2/5 stars. I love Heidi’s books but this one didn’t leave an impression.

MUST LOVE VAMPIRES & One Last Bite by Heidi BettsI was introduced to Heidi Betts through www.AuthorIsland.com . I started reading her blog http://heidibetts.com/wipsandchains/ on a regular basis before I picked up one of her books. I try to stop by daily to get a chuckle, Sexy Fail Saturdays don’t count. Since then I’ve read Curse of the Dragon’s Tears (her story in the Hotter Than Hell anthology), The Bite Before Christmas, Bedded Then Wed and Her Little Secret, His Hidden Heir. I have enjoyed them all. I just finished reading Love at First Bite and its epilog One Last Bite. I thoroughly enjoyed them. I laughed so hard I had to put the book up at one point. I think my favorite quote is “I don’t think you have to worry. I’m like a sexual camel. I can live on that one orgasm for another ten years easy.” This is the story of twin vampires in Vegas who find happiness with twin sisters. The story is told in two parts. Sebastian and Charlotte (aka Chuck) in Vampnapped and Aidan and Chloe in Married…With Fangs. I will admit I liked Vampnapped a little better. One Last Bite was hardly necessary but a nice follow up. Over all a fun read and recommended.

Must Love Vampires is a two part book with an epilogue that combines the two stories. The first story is about Charlotte "Chuck", who is a tabloid reporter with a twin sister Chloe who is a showgirl. Chuck wants to run down a story about the casino owner she thinks is a vampire. The second story is about Chloe who's a showgirl gold digger trying to land the big fish.I disliked this book, it had potential but I annoyed me to no end with the childish thinking of it's main characters and the witty crappy dialogue. The romance was forced and horribly done. The big reveal of the vampires powers was horribly boring and unremarkable except for it's horribleness. All in all a bad book but not so bad I would give it only one star, I gave it two because I felt the author tried to spin some originality. I may be a little generous here but I'll live with it.

This book is actually two stories about the same characters.Vampnapped & Married with FangsCharlotte (Chuck) and Chloe are identical twins but opposites. Chloe is a dancer while Chuck writes tabloid news stories. Chuck spends most of her time alone, which she seems to be fine with until she meet Sebastian, the super rich and cool owner of the hottest place in Vegas. Chloe is dating Sebastian's brother Aidan and he feels she is wrong for him, so he kidnaps her. Chuck is aiming for a legitimate newspaper job, so she sets her sites on an expose of Sebastian. Of course, things get hot and heavy between the two while Aidan is making his move on Chloe when he bites her. Chloe has a few secrets of her own (like a child!). I really enjoyed the humor in these stories! I would love to see more detail about the characters.

Ok, so first off I have to say, I did not know this was two short stories. That is never stated in the description grant it the two stories connect but it is not the point, the stories together are both rather short, so it could and should have been fleshed out a little more. Now, I assume no one else in the world knows vampire exist - but we get no world building in this book so maybe I'm mistaken. The characters are only given little backstory and they really have no development; I wish this books editor had asked for more before pushing this out. It was just ok, light, easy, but no substance.

Well the story was a nice and fast pacedDefinately a day read. I picked this up firstly on the cover it is awesome love it, then secondly for the story seemed interesting enough a pair of (girl) twins fall for Brothers who incedently are Vampires. And I enjoyed the whole Las Vegas backgroundThe story was entertaining and the characters interesting.Would like to read more if it ever gets a sequel I would like to know if the girls ever become vampires themselves or if any children come out of the pairing. This book is a break in the monotony something unchallenging to break the cycle.A lovely contemporary romance with a little paranormal romance thrown in.

This book is one of those books thst makes you smile. Though the start was really good and well written...the last part just seems so stupid and fake, its funny.Charlotte, who prefers to go by Chuck, is a writter for Sin City Tattler which tells stories about bigfoot and such. She thinks she has a big new story, one thats actually more thruth than creative writting she normally does...her twin sisters boss is a vampire. So Chuck switches places and go to work for Chloe. What could go wrong when you trying to dig around the private life of a mega rich guy, who happens to be your sisters boss?

Quick easy read written in 2 parts with the last chapter tying the 2 stories together. Was a fun read if not full of cringe worthy cliches. It had twin, bombshell sisters that live in Vegas who fall for gorgeous, rich playboy vampires who would be at home on the cover of GQ magazine or Forbes. These were things I could over look because I was in the head space for a tacky vampire romance that ticked all my boxes :DConsidering all, this was not a bad read

It was an ok book if I was only commenting on the first half of the book I probarbly would have given it a 4 star rating but the second half it seemed to lose a bit of quality and the two staring characters of the second half lacked the interest that Chuck and Sebastian held in the first half. I liked the fact that Chuck was sneeking around trying to catch Sebastian out and she was then intrigued by him but her sister Chloe was just a gold digger and Aidan just didn't seem real cluey.
